I really like grand strategy games like ck3 and stellaris. Highkey when I play those games I’m like a massive warmonger and assissin. Like I got the Asia expansion recently and I’ve managed to essentially take over China in one generation by getting my daughter a marriage with like the 3rd in line for the throne where the children would be in my line and then murdered the first two so my grandson would be emperor. And in a prior playthrough I got my nephew a kingdom in Africa from a crusade and then when I played as him I spent the next few generations committing holy wars to take over kingdoms and almost created a unified African empire before I had to go back to college.

Anyways I’ve been reading the warrior cats books and what my experience in those games has taught me is that if I was fireheart in a dangerous path I would have killed bluestar. Like she was literally going insane and I’ve killed people to obtain power for less.

Okay so you guys know how it’s like pretty obvious that Kris likely has feelings for both Susie and Noelle and so it’s not insane to guess that they were jealous at the festival and it was likely the player projecting onto Kris being like the biggest supporter of the two of them getting together.

Imagine how gross it must feel for there to be this entity inside you controlling your actions and it is making like pretty objectively nice choices for your friends but to still be upset about it because you wish you were in their place. Like at least in the weird route it’s easy to hate the player because we are hurting people but in the normal route even when we make good choices we steal Kris’s agency and ignore their feelings.

I have like no strong feelings towards wether or not Ralsei is trans but I do believe that in this most recent chapter and prior ones there is pretty decent evidence and subtext to support it; however I do believe that some people are really grasping at straws with the evidence they choose to take into account.

Like I saw someone pushing for nonbinary Ralsei because Asgore refers to him using they/them pronouns. Like guys Asgore has literally never interacted with Ralsei why would he know what pronouns Ralsei secretly desires to use? Like it’s not crazy to default to neutral pronouns for a person you don’t know especially when they are vaguely androgynous.

It’s extra stupid because there is better nonbinary ralsei evidence in this chapter. The fact the menu in the level text uses they/them pronouns for ralsei.

Deltarune fans will actually act surprised when two people who have known each other for like 3 days max don’t actually have the perfect friendship imaginable.

People acting like Toby doesn’t have enough time to wrap everything up are kinda hilarious to me. Because first there are going to be things we don’t get answers to, like that’s lowkey just the type of writer he is, Undertale was the same way. And second each chapter is like roughly 5 hours of content if you aren’t talking to everyone and doing all the optimal things and we have two of them left. So it’s like yeah guys he has like at least 10 hours worth of content to answer the main questions and resolve lingering issues. I’m not stressed.

While I’ve not completely finished the chapter yet as I still have do to the final boss I can give my general opinions.

I certainly have my issues with it, but I don’t think it’s a bad chapter. I love most of the characters that were introduced, I felt that the setting was really fun, and my favorite bit was how much attention was given to Ralsei this chapter.

Like one Kralsei has to be real after this chapter or Toby is a fucking freak. Like there were times this chapter that Ralsei was basically giving heart eyes to Kris. Like I don’t want to spoil anything but like the sauna scene was crazy.

It does lowkey feel like while Ralsei has feelings for Kris it’s not reciprocated. Like I do fear Kris is in love with Susie.

It’s been literal months since I last played Deltarune and I loaded it back up just to get a feel for it again before tomorrow and I first tried the knight. I can’t believe I actually use to struggle with that boss. Like my incompetent ass literally said it was harder than fighting sans what was I smoking???
