once his out of prison he has to chose between a phone or a laptop and picks his laptop. he was going to buy it off ebay but didn’t have the funds so he got it off an old ‘friend’ - it was not entirely legal. 

scott gets kurt a phone and cassie has decorated it and you bet his walking around with a phone with hello kitty on it.

She always HAD been so serious. Not because she was serious, but because it was the persona easiest adopted when having to deal with so many serious things. Or at least she had always taken things so seriously. Pez dispenser was carefully tucked away again, eyebrows raising in feigned offence at his words. “You know, not many people would say it’s a good idea to say that sort of thing to my face.” Yet the little shake of her head, faintest of smiles on her lips gave him the silent assurance that it was fine. “This is basically my natural state. I’m fine. Just not that used to waiting. Coffee would be great, thank you.”

𝐎𝐇 𝐍𝐎.  𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐅𝐔𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐏. well, it was longer than it would have taken for Luis, and therefore mission accomplished.  He really had only meant it from a place of concern. He would not be shocked that someone who knew their records would be uneasy.  He knows how hard it was for people to see past a criminal record.  HELL,  if he hadn’t gone down the path he did, he might be one of them.  ❛ — ah, again apologies. Scott will be with you in two to five years. Apologies for the wait. ❜    another terrible attempt at a joke.   he really didn’t thrive in awkward situations but Dave had too much confidence and Luis had a habit of over talking more than he did, so.    it had been him who was the sacrificial lamb.     nod in her direction as he made his way to the coffee pot.  Turning it on.     ❛ — sugar? milk?   ❜

when ava appears and it’s like ‘baba yaga!’ and like kurt is really scared, i love how dave goes from panicked to, are you okay man, back to panicked.  the wombat squad just care so much about each other

𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆. 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐃.    Weird though, having to think about just five years that disappeared, then again. He had served five years at Folsom.  That time also just --- disappeared.  It had been emotional,   the day before.  Still, sleeping on the couch, while something he was used to, was not the most comfortable. His old apartment long rented to someone else. Attention turned to Luis with a smile as he made himself a coffee.   ❛ --- so now you old man  -  have you learnt to cook?    or you still insult tastebuds?  ❜

SHE RECOGNISED IT INSTANTLY, amusement sparkling in dark brown eyes as she looked at the little sweet dispenser. She still wasn’t quite sure how to interact with Scott’s friends. Everything happened fast. Everything with Scott was easy, but other people…she had a habit of unsettling them and she knew that. She wouldn’t blame Kurt for not being sure about her, and while Scott was off doing other things, she felt rather stuck. At least talking about Pez dispensers was EASY. “You’re wrong.” She smiled, pulling open her coat to reach into her pocket and take out the fuschia dispenser that had a little bee Hello Kitty on top of it. BEE HAPPY was scrawled on the side. “She gave it to me a couple weeks back. I know it’s a bee, but…it’s the thought that counts, right?”

𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄. he had been in tears when he had been given the dispenser from Cassie.    Treasured it more than perhaps he should, but it was a gift and it meant more to him that words could possibly convey.  FAMILY was an incredibly precious thing and he knew all about losing it.    So, he would keep this family close.   smile brightening a bit with a nod.   ❛ — she’s good kid. I’m sure if Hello Kitty brings out Wasp Pez dispenser you will get one.  Do you want other coffee?  tea?   other beverage.  I could be stereotype and offer vodka too?      you do look uptight. ❜    he waited a moment, realised his words would probably have a different meaning.   Well,   the last bit anyways.  he hoped the vodka joke was taken as such.  ❛ — i did not mean insult,   said with concern,   might come across wrong.  apologies if did. ❜
