Capt. James Dottleby and Shawn March
Capt. James Dottleby: Ho, there! What's that?
Shawn March: What's what?
JD: Look out into the stars.
(Shawn looks out into space with a perplexed look)
SM: I see nothing. Just stars and more stars. I think you might be delirious. Maybe if you...
JD: Look again. One of those stars is moving. It seems to be moving toward us.
SM: Even if it were, which it is not, it is entirely too far away for us to be concerned at all.
JD: If it's as far away as you say, I shouldn't be able to see it moving so clearly, correct?
SM: Well, I mean...I...
JD: It's not a star. It's clearer now...it seems to be some sort of...vessel.
SM: You have got to be absolutely mad! How could there be a vessel flying out here!? There's no water! I doubt any wind! JD: What do you think we're on? It seems to be a wreck. It's dirty, and looks to be in disarray. Worst case, this vessel has every intention of killing us. That's a better option than starving or freezing to death. It's like ice in here.
