This is a terrible painting of my sister and I. I like what I did with the colors, but totally fucked up our faces 😂

I made this for my momma for her birthday. It is a picture of my son with Hawaiian roses. Made with Prismacolor Pencils, black ink, white acrylic paint and some detail pens.
Here is a witch I drew. I like to think of her as a very quirky person who the other witches find to be very weird. However she is always optimistic and chill.
I decided I wanted to do one of the Disney princesses as an evil witch. I mean she didn't really turn out evil so much. Just badass. If you haven't guessed correctly yet because you couldn't make her out with my horrendous drawing, it's Cinderella.also do me the favor of ignoring the cauldron in the back. I tried something. And I thought it looked good but I could have made it better. And I just messed it all up. Oh well, it happens.
I figured I wouldn't add more. At least now. I can always add more later! So I bought the wood board in the back and wooden letters and anchor. I painted them to somewhat resembled being dipped in the ocean so you are looking at them underwater still. I crafted the whale, fish and crab out of some thick scrapbooking paper and used markers to outline them to add some depth. Then I used silver glitter glue to create the bubbles coming out of their mouth holes. Then to add some twine business all up in there, I super glued the letters, anchor, creatures and twine so they all are connected. I didn't really have any set idea in mind when I threw this together. I was going to add more fish but I want to save my time, energy and supplies on my baby's scrapbook and the rest of the decor for his room. He may be almost a year old but it is never too late to jazz up a nursery!
Almost done with the fancy sign for my baby's room! Obviously it is an ocean creature themed room. Still figuring out if I need to add more but I can't touch it until the glitter bubbles dry completely. I guess this means I will retire for the night!
Continued working on this piece tonight. Still trying to figure out if I am going to do more to the wings other than making them look like actual feathers on the wings. Also debating on what the iris color will be. At least I worked on some of it today. I am so beat.

I WILL MAKE A NEW PIECE OF ART FOR YOU MY LOVELY. MY ART BABIES ARE MADE TO ORDER.
I am arting again. Figured I need to kick my ass back into shape now that I have my art space all set up and plenty of time now that the manchild will be away for quite sometime. I am making a series of abstract eye horoscope drawing so guess which one this will be! Also I do have some news. In order to actually motivate me to work on art, I have created an Etsy shop to sell bits here and there. I only offer one item at the moment (which is made to order depending on how many people actually want it). I plan on gradually adding artwork and various other items of my creation. Part-time only since only then I can manage this. This is why I am going to be posting on this blog more as I create more. Follow if you want to see the progress of my pieces and if you are interested in buying any particular work, my shop is called Aroohart. (On a later date I will link it will my blog when I actually get off my lazy depressed butt and do it).
Work in progress. It is going to be a painting of various building in Honolulu. The middle painting has sooo much detail. Why do so many people have stuff on their lanais?

I tried. I like how the contrast is working here, but I messed up on the proportions. And also I got tired of shading in all the dark colors.
This is edited mainly because when I took a picture of it, it was like really yellow, so I had to decrease the saturation.
Doodling. Fucked up on the shadowing a bit.
I drew JD's face when he was in full attitude mode. I am really feeling inky pens right now.
"Fairy of Light" ~Darkness cannot exist without light. This was done with pen and only pen. I wanted to experiment with lines and colors.
I really like people silhouetted against pretty sunsets.
For my baby shower, I carved out a shark from a watermelon. First time making food into art. Turned out pretty awesome! So much melon guts!
Tested out my watercolor pencils.
