“I’m not testy,” he protested, but still crossed his arms over front of his chest. At this point, Adrian thought he might actually like Austin better than he liked Arianna - which honestly seemed impossible. They were both so obviously siblings, cut from the same annoying cloth. “No I’m not - why, did you see someone hitting on her?” he asked, suddenly paying more attention, his eyes sharp as he looked down at her.
“Mhmm.” She made a sound of disbelief. His whole being screamed irritable, but then it always seemed like Adrian was itching for a fight. She half rolled her eyes at his change of demeanor. “Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t.” she replied, knowing full well it would probably irritate him more. “Either way, I wouldn’t tell you. I don’t think Kade Wilson needs a fist fight ruining his party.”
