Im learning Blender! And my first project was a beer pint rather than a donut, sorry Blender Guru.
I have more plans for this little pint, but in the mean time, have a still and a loop!

I got my associate's degree in animation this March!

Character integration into a real footage plate. Sometime soon I'll upload the whole scene in which I worked, the editing could use a biiiit more love though.

This is one of my favorite shots of the film, it could use some polishing though. Another scene from 2020's shortfilm (which I'll upload the whole thing as soon as I get around to give it some more love)

It’s not every day I do the good ol’ frame by frame animation, but I had fun doing this one. Its a mix between the rear legs of a lion and the front arms of a human-ish bear.
Same creature but now its a biped cycle. It resembles a werewolf I think. Frame by frame animation
I ran out of time for the background in this one. Mix of a lion with bearesque human arms. Plus lots of eyes, I love creatures with lots of eyes for some reason. Frame by frame animation
Render of a bottle of my favorite (cheap, will not disappoint, Uruguay’s classic) beer.
I modeled the bottle and made the texture for the labels and the material from scracth. (The body label is actually a retouched scan of an actual label) This is a passion project and it’s still a work in progress. There’s several things I’d like to fix (such as the lightning, and a weird IOR thing I get where the neck meets the body) Also In the future I plan on doing some fluid sim for the beer.
For now I’m using this as a prop to integrate with a real footage backplate for a short film for college. Modeled in 3ds Max, rendered with Vray 5. Texture retouching done with photoshop.
Another environment for this years short film. Modeled after M. C. Escher’s lithography “Relativity” (1953)
Procedural desert made for this year short film.
To have a sense of scale, the box is 1m x 1m x 1,8m. The dunes are kinda massive.
Car crash with fragmentation and smoke simulation. I wanted to add things to it (like the car exploding and the sign crashing down) but it was a bit overkill, since it was a small exercise for my Uni midterms.
Done in 3dsmax with Rayfire and Fume Fx. Rendered in Vray next.

I did this as an excuse to practice Real Flow and the Arnold toon shader.I was going for cartoony, and I’m quite happy with how this turned out.
Fume Fx and Vray practice. Its messy and unrefined, I did this as an excuse to learn how to export and compose passes in a single EXR file.
