i lie awake at night theorizing about what the dragon garp dynamic was like. i think dragon was a rabid dog and a pain in the ass to raise

Garp: The system is broken and can’t be fixed, but I’m already stuck inside it, so I will dedicate my life to keeping as many people from dying in its name as I can.

Dragon: The system is rigged and must be dismantled, its foundations torn up, and its perpetuators held accountable so that something better can be built with the good of all in mind.

Luffy: The system is meaningless because free will is inherent to all living creatures and no amount of violence or suppression can take that truth away.
