I was talking to myself the other day about how it would be a running gag when Mickey just shows up every time Sora and Kairi show signs of affection and Mickey just does the death glare of “NOT IN MY HOUSE OF MOUSE” and then Minnie comes in and hugs Mickey and she’s giving him cheek pecks and he’s like aw gosh! and then he sees his reflection on a mirror and gives the same death flare to himself and feels ashamed that he let papa Walt down for giving in to the temptations.

Or like in old animation where the character’s reflection is doing something different, the King would turn at a mirror and his reflection would already be glaring at him. The Real Mickey nods sagely in shame. He turns back around the reflection is back in sync!

Been trying to think of ways to look and dress nicely without looking “sexy” because I get really self-conscious about that and I’m sure other people (ace or not) do too. Here’s what I have so far:

- flowy tops/dresses

I vibe with this post so much. For me, what works personally are short sleeved button-up shirts, especially patterned ones. You can wear them unbuttoned with something underneath, or tie the ends into a knot, or wear it buttoned and tucked in. Also buttoned+tucked over a long sleeve shirt is very comfy.

Barbie: Rapunzel still has my favorite ‘transformation’ scene with all the different dresses, because Rapunzel is an artist and you can see what she’s thinking with each new dress she paints! First it’s a simple dress, pretty and a step up from her casual pink (also fun fact, it’s the same dress style her mother is wearing in the end!) Then she says it’s too simple, so the next dress she’s only thinking of more, bigger, fancier so the next dress is, absolutely, “a bit much”. Then she’s thinking simpler but the idea isn’t fully there yet so what she paints ends up very abstract (I love this dress) and kind of half-formed and THEN she’s looking in the mirror at her reflection and really thinking and she paints the final dress, spins in the lightshow, masterpiece revealed and it’s beautiful
