“My husband got involved with a younger woman at work. I was relaxed about it at first. He’s thirteen years younger than me, so I thought: ‘Shit happens.’ But then she got pregnant. Luckily through the divorce process I had the opportunity to take over this shithole place with no heating, which I’ve turned into an art studio. And now I’m living my best life. Everything is for sale except the pink chandelier and the dog. Anyone is free to stop by at anytime. You can eat or drink whatever you want. All the young people in the neighborhood love me. I’m the oldest person in our friend group. Everyone else is in their twenties or thirties. They call me Queen Mama. I call them my adopted kids. I always help them with their school projects and resumes and interviews. I only ask one thing in return. Each of them has to teach me one new thing every week: a piece of music, a trend, an idea. Just so I can stay up to date. Before you take the photograph, let me go inside and put on some make-up. We were out until 2 AM last night.” (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
you ain’t grading a college paper
Do this for any company that asks you to review their employees always.
You wouldn’t believe the number of times I swear I get 4/5 star ratings at my job just because the way people think is “well 5/5 means perfect and nobody’s perfect, 4/5 is good!” The company I work for doesn’t understand this common mentality at all, and will let people go over not having consistent enough 5/5 ratings. Obviously they don’t inform the customers of that.
this also applies to your restaurant servers!!
i thought everyone already did this!! guys they get FIRED if their average rating is below 4.6
the company sucks. if you are buying their product, play their game and don’t fuck over your driver because of some personal principle of how 5 star ratings are *supposed* to work. if your driver didn’t do anything worthy of getting fired, give them five stars else imo their loss of income will be on you.
This is from “Old Gays Try Grindr” and i’m dying
People interpret “expensive wedding” to mean “my fiance and I spent a large amount of money to throw a great celebration that was important to us” instead of “I went into debt because I have been brainwashed into thinking that if I don’t have Barbie’s Perfect Hollywood Dream Wedding™️ by age 27 I have Failed and my life is a sad joke, so I’m going to blow my savings on gilded stationary and custom napkins and have a breakdown if I think my bridesmaids aren’t treating this as the all-important, life-defining moment I need it to be and dieting so they fit in these designer dresses I picked out for them, and I need to make sure everything is Perfect because my fiance isn’t interested in helping me, and a beautiful wedding is the most important part of a good marriage…. right?”
Which is. What expensive heterosexual wedding culture is, because women are literally sold unrealistic princess fantasies from childhood that are promised to them by a predatory wedding industry and portrayed as The Key to Happiness. It’s almost as exploitative as the funeral industry.
Sophie Turner and Jonathan Van Ness meeting for the first time
its like two drunks girls meeting in the bathroom
letterkenny is a good show.
Please remember that all the natives on this show are played by actual native people, and all the native/Rez jokes are written by native writers and actors and that as someone who grew up very close to a reservation, Jared Keeso has great respect for the Canadian aboriginees
btw, for all the people noticing the girl in the yellow shirt being thirsty: her name is katy, she’s one of the main characters, and she and the actual indigenous woman in the video (tanis) are both openly bisexual
The doctor I went to last week was looking over my history and he said “Endometriosis?” and I said yes. And he said “Is that just your speculation or have you actually been diagnosed?” and I was like “I have been cut open three times for it so I hope it isn’t just speculation.” and he just looked at me and said “Females tend to diagnose themselves” and without missing a beat I said “Well I hope you do your job so I don’t have to.”
That doctor sounds horrible
PRC disinformation campaign and censorship at work. Mainland person who had no idea that the current HK protests are actually in response to police violence. PRC wants people to believe it is a secessionist revolution at work even though the majority just want to maintain one country two systems and thus want to fight against encroaching Beijing interference. Not sure what the second question is meant to be... lost in translation I guess
oh yeah well what if trains entering tunnels didn’t symbolise sex, in fact what if sex symbolised railway engineering, how about that huh
everything is about sex, except sex, which is about trains
dedicating your life to a celebrity can be very telling and im sorry i might step on a few toes but it’s abnormal lol
i always try to give the benefit of the doubt and consider this adulation as nothing but a harmless phase because you usually see that happen among really young teenagers and honestly in a way it does make sense because you don’t know who you are, you are unsure about what you want in life at that age so you look up to people who have an established name, appearance and most of all: success, so it does make sense to me but i see adults who behave the same way and it is abnormal, it’s not okay. ‘’they’re not harming anyone’’ they are harming themselves, celebrity worship, to me, is a form of self harm but not only are they harming themselves, they also have a hard time detaching themselves from these celebrities so they often push others under the bus to protect their idols. it’s fucking absurd
he really liked standing on the mango
no really he was completely transfixed by it

This is the neo nazi who tried to shoot up a mosque in Norway, and the 65 year old Muslim grandpa who kicked his ass before he could do jack shit. Eid Mubarak, motherfucker.
