Life is a game, here is how to win...(part 1)
I am too young to say I have won the game of life. But I can tell you that in my old age, I will proclaim victory even if no moment of serendipity ever occurs again from today which I highly doubt.
You have got to believe that there is someone on your side. Like it can't just be me? I moved 5 times in my life and I have found profound luck. So intense, that I feel there is someone watching me keenly and sending me guardian angels (I don't mean to be spiritual) but that's the only way to describe it. Since this realization, I have acted like so. I look around because I know there is someone for me. Like people are so kind to me. It brings me to tears sometimes. It also helps that I smile all the time and I speak to both living and nonliving things hahaha.
Make sure to make people feel great to be associated with you. I have had people from all walks of life; old and young tell me they are grateful they met me. Why? I am kind. I treat people well, I make them feel special, I send them my banana bread, I write notes, I check in on them. You have to create your own village.
Be good at something. It doesn't matter what it is, make it part of your identity. I followed a recipe and make some of the best focaccia bread and people know me for my baking. I work a 9-5 mind you and everyone thinks I am just fun because I bring some kind of pastry. It even more endearing when I try something for the first time and it turns out bad and they tell me they'd try it anyway hahahaha.
Suck at something. No one wants a little miss perfect. I am sure you all have a flaw or some skill you just try so desperately to learn. Mine is Excel hahaha. I despise it, but for some reason, it has allowed me build camaraderie with some folks on my team. Because I always ask for help and end up conversing with them. People think i'm smart for doing that.
You have got to enjoy your solitude. Look, life will be an uphill battle if you don't. Come on? You mean to tell me you don't like yourself enough to be alone? To wander? To read? To have coffee with yourself? To watch a comedy at home? You cannot win at life without knowing how to sit down with yourself. Learn to sit with your thoughts. Know yourself my friend.

Identity = Belief + Standards + Nervous System + Environment + Repetition
You don’t “become” the identity, you drop everything that blocks it
Matching your identity is never about turning yourself into someone new. It’s about subtracting the versions of you that can’t sustain that level of clarity, power, and emotional regulation. When you remove what keeps you operating below your potential, the higher identity naturally rises to the surface
