This Is the End (2013) dir. Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg

Sokka: If I died, how much would you miss me?
Zuko: it’s cute that you think death can get you out of this relationship
Zuko: Sokka is so cute, he thinks we are in this until death do us part
Zuko: Little does he know I already have an eleborate plan to make us immortal in the near future
He’s got connections. His great grandfather was Avatar Roku.
Zuko, yelling at a monument of Roku: I nearly single handily restored this family’s honour you could do me one little favour!
my personality is weird because sometimes I’m really confident and sometimes I’m really shy
zuko really saw a bunch of seal hybrids dive into a hole and followed after them huh
Sokka is smart in stupid ways and Zuko is stupid in smart ways
you are so right
So my brother and I were just talking on the phone and we realized: Aang might have mastered all four elements but Sokka mastered the non-bending styles from all four nations!
He already knew how to fight with Water Tribe weapons/regalia:
Then, in what’s likely the first Earth Kingdom village he’s ever visited, he learned how to fight with the Warriors of Kyoshi:
When he reached the Northern Air Temple, he was able to tap into the philosophy of the airbenders and realize that the best way to win a battle is to avoid face-to-face confrontation by instead using creative means (and the sky) to take down your opponent:
And finally, when he reached the Fire Nation, Piandao taught him how to forge a unique weapon and hone his swordsmanship:
Sokka learned all four non-bending styles!
Really puts Iroh’s quote into a different context:
“Understanding the other nations will help you become whole.”
Only support for Sokka’s in this house
