“A.. Knight?" Weren’t knights some sort of armored fighter somewhere in Europe.. or something? She sure looked strong, that’s for sure.. Rin tilted her head, still registering the whole knight thing. They came from like, 2,000 years ago, right? 200 maybe? 20? She needed to listen more during history class. Sleep is so tempting, though..
After a moment of thought, it hit her. “That’s right, you’re a trick-or-treater! Halloween was a week ago, though, so you’re late. That’s such a cool outfit, though! Maybe I should wear something like that next year!!" She laughed, balancing on the heel of her foot for a couple of seconds.
“Well, I’ve never seen a suit of armor in real life before. I see tons on TV though! Hanayo and I sit together and watch the coolest movies with samurais and soldiers and stuff. We should watch something cool together! Do you know where we might be able to find a television?" Geez, Rin sure talks a lot for such a little thing. She couldn’t quite understand that the shining armor Kjelle wore was not a costume, but made out of true steel.
Halloween? Trick-or-treater? The more she spoke, the further away Kjelle felt from her new partner. She opened her mouth a few times to reply, but found she could make little sense of what Rin was even saying. Perhaps it was best to just let her go on for a bit.
Having her prized equipment referred to as an "outfit" didn't sit too well with Kjelle, but she shrugged it off as best she could. It was almost unthinkable that Rin hadn't ever seen a suit of armor in person, and almost somewhat concerning. Was she just sheltered? Perhaps her family was a bit eccentric? It was hard to imagine that there were still people in the world who were unfamiliar with the tools of war, but she supposed it was certainly possible...
"Television? Is that some sort of tome?" Though it probably would have been better not to ask, it seemed as if her new acquaintance's curiosity was slowly rubbing off. From what the smaller girl was saying, it seemed as if the tome was able to summon armor...perhaps? "I'm not quite sure I've heard of your 'samurais', either. It seems like you're delusional. Do you have some sort of fever?" As if testing her own forehead wasn't enough, Kjelle removed her gauntlet once more and pressed her hand to the back of Rin's.
