mad max fury road is a great movie and all the action was really dramatic and cool, but from an in-universe perspective imortan joe's plan for retrieving his wives kinda sucked. how the fuck did he expect to stop the war rig without killing them in the world's craziest car accident?? his soldiers are all huffing paint and trying to die in a car explosion before they die of radiation related diseases very soon does he really expect them to stop a massive truck full of gasoline and weapons in a manner that doesn't cause as many car explosions as possible? this is definitely the type of mission that you need to staff with some guys who want to live.

also i don't know why no one objected to nux's idea of tying max to his car so he could do battle and get a blood transfusion at the same time. did they think there was any chance nux would bring him back later?they were all saying how valuable max was as a universal donor and then attached him to the car of a guy who started pouring gasoline on the floor so he could explode the car as soon as he saw an opportunity to do so
