MINORITIES CAN STILL BE CAPABLE OF OPPRESSING OTHER MINORITIES
the entire world population is 101 males to 100 females. Depending upon which definition is used, between 0.1% and 1.7% of live births are intersex
When did women become a minority? Da fak?
‘My Hijab Has Nothing To Do With Oppression. It’s A Feminist Statement’
Not all Muslim women cover their bodies. Not all Muslim women who do are forced to do so. Like freelance writer Hanna Yusuf, who chooses to wear a hijab in a daily act of feminism. In a new video for The Guardian, Yusuf challenges stereotypes by setting out to reclaim the choice to wear a hijab as “a feminist statement.”
For more on on how the hijab helps women reclaim their bodies watch the full video here.

WARNINGS: Swearing
Enjoy :)
After shopping for groceries and clothes with Sam, you found out how the boys got their money. It was exactly what you expected, credit cards with fake ID’s, but what you found fun, though less lucrative, was hustling pool. You sat next to Sam, pretending to be his drunk girlfriend, as he faked drunk and bad at pool. It was hilarious, part of you felt bad for the morons putting down five-hundred dollars, but when one spanked your ass and thought he could get away with it because you were “drunk”. You didn’t feel so bad. After it happened Dean got up from a stool close to the pool table, about to knock the guy out cold, but you “drunkenly” stumbled over and put your arms around him, whispering into his ear.
“Don’t do anything. Sam is about to wring him dry.” You assured Dean, you thought you felt him shudder, but then he went back to his seat, pretending not to have noticed.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” The asshole yelled after Sam sunk the eight ball, you couldn’t help but laugh at the shit-head grin stretched across his face. You looked over to Dean and he was smiling, you winked at him. This was the first real fun you’d had in two years. You felt good, and it kind of scared you. You were wearing new clothes, your hair was done, you were even wearing a tad of makeup, something you had abandoned completely. Sam even said that you looked pretty before the three of you left for the bar, Dean just rolled his eyes.
“I think you owe me a couple hundred bucks.” Sam said calmly, towering over the other man, even though the man had to be average height or even slightly above. The man grunted, clearly realizing Sam’s superior form. He paid up, grudgingly. You laughed as the man angrily shoved bills into Sam’s palm. After watching for a few moments you went to go sit with Dean, your job was done.
“It's always more fun when the guy tries to punch him out.” Dean stated while sipping a beer, his lips forming around the bottle, slick and wet after swallowing the drink.
“I can’t wait to see that happen one of these days.” You replied, taking the beer from his hand and sipping it. He looked at you sideways and took his beer back with a wry look. You giggled a bit at his furrowed brows.
“You seem happy.” He said, finishing the beer and waving at the bartender for another two, clearly not wanting to share his next one.
“I’m the happiest I’ve been for a while.” You said smiling, Dean returned your gaze then avoided it, seemingly intimidated by your secure stare.
“Yeah well, the endorphins from all that exercise and not looking like a soccer mom are probably helping your mood.” He replied with a grin. You punched his arm.
“You wanna take credit for my good mood with your miserable exercises?” You asked with an open mouth, shocked at his impertinence. He just laughed it off as a cute blond in a short jean skirt brought you both another beer. You thanked her as she walked away, but all she saw was Dean checking her out.
“I can put any lady in a good mood.” He responded finally, quirking an eyebrow. You made a gagging noise and he shrugged. Sam joined you two after collecting money from his victim. After a few more beers and a game of pool between the three of you (one that you lost miserably), you all piled into the Impala and headed back to the bunker.
The three of you were all a bit buzzed, Dean less so even though he drank more than both you and Sam, which seemed odd to you. You and Dean were singing Barracuda while Sam shook his head, smiling at how weird you two were being. Once in the kitchen, Sam gave both you and Dean glasses of water, and like a mamma bear watched as you both drank the whole glass.
“Oh my God that was so fun!” You said with your hands in the air like a drunken party girl. Sam and Dean began laughing at you for no real reason. Finally Sam rubbed his face.
“I’m going to bed, you two should as well. Goodnight.” Sam announced, he came around the table and gave Dean’s shoulder a squeeze, then he came up to you, you were leaning against the counter, and he placed his hand on your back, kissing you gently on the forehead, then casually leaving with the wave of his hand. You were a bit surprised by the gesture, it was very comforting, and you guessed that it wasn’t that odd. Dean stared at you after Sam left, after a few moments he smiled strangely and stood up.
“Looks like Sammy’s pretty into you.” He teased, you rolled your eyes.
“He’s just a nice guy, you should try it.” You retaliated, if Sam did like you, it wasn’t Dean’s business, and you felt like you needed to protect Sam’s privacy. You felt a small pocket of loyalty and admiration for Sam, he was becoming very important to you. Dean was different, but that wasn’t a bad thing.
“Whatever you say sweetheart. I’m hitting the sack, see you tomorrow.” As Dean said that, he had a stupid grin on his face and ridiculously mimicked Sam’s action of kissing you on the forehead with antagonistic eyes. But with the touch of his lips on your forehead, you stiffened, your pulse began racing, and the place he kissed scorched. He lingered for a moment, the smile out of his eyes for a split second, then he turned on his heel and headed for his room without another word. With that, you were left alone in the kitchen, a ghost kiss from each brother. Feeling anxious, butterflies making your stomach squirm, feeling like you might vomit, either from happiness or from worry, maybe both but you couldn’t decipher.
“Oh man, I’m in trouble.” You whispered to yourself.
Everyone’s losing their shit from the last episode coz of Dean and Sam’s little embrace. Lol we get excited over the weirdest stuff. I love this fandom. <3
You sat across the bar from Dean, Sam tracing the rim of his glass next to you as you watched some redhead with bad eye-shadow caress Dean’s bicep. You laughed into your beer and Sam looked at you sideways.
“He has really bad taste doesn’t he?” You said to Sam without looking at him. Sam chuckled next to you.
“Well, that girl wouldn’t be my first choice but to each his own right?” Sam replied, staring at your lips, wet from the liquor. The two of you laughed and made fun of Dean and his drunken flirting. After a few minutes, Sam got up and went to the bathroom, leaving you alone with a new mug of beer.
A man in his thirties, wearing a ridiculously low v-neck t-shirt under a leather jacket came up to you at the bar, leaning a little too close for comfort, and making disturbing grunting sounds. You groaned annoyed into your beer as you took a sip.
“Hey there, was waiting for that other guy to leave. What’s your name baby?” He said, too close to your ear, smelling his alcoholic breath mixed with something else unpleasant. His hand found your lower back, sending a disgusted shudder up your spine The whole point of you sitting with Sam and him sitting with you was so that trashy people didn’t hit on either of you. You turned and faced the man.
“Listen buddy, get your nasty breath out of my face, I can’t breath.” You said loudly, knowing you could kick his ass if he tried anything. His face turned red and he got pissed real quick. He grabbed your wrist and wrenched you to face him.
“You think you’re a pretty tough bitch don’t you? Will you be so tough when I have you on your knees you little whore?” He spat, yanking you in different directions. Out of the corner of your eye you saw Dean standing up and coming around the bar. You were about to smash your beer mug over the guy's head when Sam came out of nowhere, tackling him to the ground and showering punches on him. You unintentionally screeched at the sight of Sam pounding on him, Dean was upon them both, about to pull Sam off the guy, but letting him rain a few more punches before yanking him off. Standing up, Sam shoved Dean off of him and straightened out his shirt.
“You don’t talk to her like that you pig!” Sam spat in his deepest growl, then grabbed his jacket off the bar stool and stormed out. You looked at Dean, shock momentarily paralyzing you. Dean laughed lightly.
“Well that was dramatic. You should go after him Y/N, cause I got a hot redhead and a blond offering me a threesome over there, so I sure as shit ain’t following him.” Dean said heartily, pointing to the two women across the bar with their jaws open in awe of the fight.
You quickly grabbed your jacket and followed Sam out into the parking lot. What was that? Why’d he freak out so bad? You saw his tall, broad figure stalking towards the Impala, his jacket already on as you were struggling in your heels, trying to catch up to him as you shoved your arms into your coat.
“Sam! Wait up, are you okay?” You shouted, jogging lightly, one of his strides being equivalent to maybe three of yours. He quickly turned on his heel and looked at you.
“Yeah I’m fine.” He said shrugging. You quirked up an eyebrow and looked at his bleeding knuckles, he tried hiding them guiltily by shoving them in his jacket pockets.
“Why’d you freak out so bad? You know I could’ve taken him.” You asked concerned. He hesitated for a minute and shrugged. You continued to stare at him expectantly, crossing you arms over your chest and leaning primarily on one foot while tapping the other. He gave up after a few moments of you staring him down.
“I don’t know, I just freaked out. I didn’t like what he said and how he had his dirty hands on you, so I freaked out.” He said finally. You uncrossed your arms and smiled, punching his arm lightly.
“Well Sam Winchester, based on your reaction, I’d guess that you had a little crush on me.” You teased. He didn’t smile, instead he grabbed your arm lightly and pulled you into him, bending down generously to close the height gap, and kissed you lightly on the lips, not parting his mouth.
“I do.” He said shortly as he broke away. You blinked, shocked from the kiss, surprised at how much you wanted to do it again. You always thought of what it would be like to kiss Sam, to kiss your best friend, but you never thought it would actually happen.
“So are you gonna say something?” He asked, still holding your arm with one hand, your face cupped in his other, and both of your bodies pressed up with only a few inches between your faces.
“Oh-I mean yes- I mean I like you too. Sorry I was a bit dazed, I just um fantasized about you doing that but I didn’t think it would ever actually- you know? Happen.” You tripped over your words. Sam smiled and laughed softly at your stuttering, then he shut you up by pulling you in for another kiss, this time opening his mouth. His hands moving from your arm to your waist and more aggressively pulling you into him. You felt his tongue slipping into your mouth and moaned quietly, then you gasped as you felt his teeth bite down gently on you bottom lip, tugging at your skin.
“Well well well.” Dean said from behind you and Sam. Both of you broke apart and found Dean standing with his two lady friends, one under each arm.
“Looks like we’re both getting lucky tonight hey Sammy?” Dean roared, the girls on his arms laughing. You rolled your eyes and Sam clenched his jaw. You imagined he was a bit pissed that Dean crashed your first kiss. Sam was a bit more of a romantic then Dean was. Clearly.
“Dean!” Sam yelled. You giggled.

Was it that he was irresistibly gorgeous to you? Was it the way you could find his whisper in a crowd of screams? Was it the way his eyes crinkled when he smiled, reducing you to something helpless? Or was it real, mad, true once in a lifetime, undeniable love? You didn’t know, you had no concept of what was real between you two anymore. All you knew was that he drove you over edges that you didn’t know existed. But you couldn’t say anything. Not only would you risk your friendship, you’d risk your lifestyle, and a broken heart.
So you sat there, in the library, pretending to read some Men of Letters book on shape-shifters while really staring at the flickering green eyes of Dean Winchester. And when he caught you staring, you’d pretend to ask a question you already knew the answer to, or you’d play if off, pretending you weren’t looking in the first place. The only person who would ever know how you felt about Dean was Sam, and only because he pried it out of you as you’d cried on his shoulder when you thought that Dean might die. Sam caught the glances more than Dean ever did, and he, unlike Dean, knew exactly what they meant.
Dean knew that he was a good looking man, it was a knowledge that he’d carried around since his first kiss. He caught you staring at Sam as well. But every time your eyes flicked away Dean felt a little spark in his chest that felt like hope. Hope that you might be as madly in love with him as he was with you. He knew he could never beat Sam’s level of understanding you, and the friendship that you two shared. And it made him sad that when you were crying or upset, it was Sam’s door that you knocked on and not his. But Dean had felt it, he had felt the heart-racing chemistry between you two, and the fierce passion that, even when you were fighting and throwing things at each other, made him want to slam you against a wall and kiss you. Dean knew he couldn’t risk everything, he knew he couldn’t have you, and because of that, his trips to the bar were more often, his distancing himself from you more apparent, and his one-night stands quickly becoming a nightly routine.
With a slight stabbing sensation in his chest, Dean pushed back his chair and stood up, closing the book we was bent over.
“Well I found nothing useful for the case, I’m heading out to the bar. Maybe the hot blond from two nights ago will be there.” Dean said as he wiggled his eyebrows at Sam, adamantly avoiding your gaze.
“I’ll see you two... later, don’t wait up.” He added, then grabbed his jacket from the back of his chair and left.
As soon as he got up and said where he was going you felt like a black hole opened up in your stomach and began sucking at your insides. You even saw a small pang of sympathy on Sam’s face when he left. Every time Dean did that (which was a regular occurrence) it hurt a little more, every single time. You felt the tears well up in your eyes, and you stood up as well after he was gone for a few minutes.
“Y/N, he just doesn’t get it. He’s not trying to hurt you.” Sam said standing up after you, his voice soft, soothing, and almost even convincing. But his sympathy only hurt you more. You needed to get away before Sam saw you break down.
“No no, I’m fine Sam, really. I’m just tired I need to go lie-lie down.” You stuttered as the tears came, you turned away from Sam and ran as fast as possible but you knew he saw how pathetic you were, a stupid little school girl in love with an older man.
You shut your door and flopped on the bed, tears dampening your pillow. You didn’t know how much longer you could handle this.
Dean came back at midnight. The cute blond was there, but after talking to her for ten minutes Dean needed a heavy drink. She was gorgeous, but boring, flat, unemotional, and said such cliche things. The whole while she was talking he couldn’t help but think of how much better you could hold a conversation even if you were only half paying attention. Afterwards he mentally kicked himself, he could have told her to shut up in bed, but he just wasn’t in the mood after that, so he drank a few beers, played a few games of pool and left.
Dean went to the kitchen for something to eat before bed, and Sam was there waiting for him.
“Oh hey Sammy. I told you not to wait up. Is Y/N sleeping?” Dean asked casually as he bent down to see what was in the fridge.
“Dean… You’re hurting her and I can’t watch it anymore.” Sam said quietly. Dean straightened up and stared at Sam, not knowing who he was talking about.
“Who? What? Are you okay Sam?” Dean asked, genuinely concerned. Sam gestured for Dean to sit down. Dean sat, feeling somewhat like a child about to be scolded.
“Dean listen to me. I thought I could keep this a secret but it’s doing more damage than I think is repairable at this rate. Y/N is in love with you, and everyday I watch you hurt her more and more with your ignorance.” Sam said while running his hand over his face. Dean felt his heart flip, Sam was your best friend, he knew everything about you.
“She-she’s in love with me? Me Sam? Not you?” Dean asked in disbelief. Sam rolled his eyes.
“Are you kidding me Dean? Of course she’s not in love with me, we’re best friends. I can’t believe this, I thought you were some great ladies man and you can’t even tell that- man... “ Sam paused and Dean continued to stare in disbelief. If this was a prank, or some kind of joke that you and Sam were playing, then it was the cruelest thing you’d ever done.
“Dean, she looks at you as if you’re the only reason that the sun rises. When you were on your deathbed, she was more of a mess than I was. How can you not see it Dean?” Sam asked, Dean closed his mouth. If everything Sam said was true then Dean realized that he’d been hurting you by all the stupid things he said to convince you that he wasn’t equally as in love with you.
“Listen, Dean. If you aren’t in love with her, then that's okay. I’m just asking you to stop saying these things that hurt her. And don’t tell her that I told you.” Sam finished then he stood up, clearly tired, and clearly ready for bed. Dean sat in the dark kitchen by himself, swallowing all that Sam had just said. He cringed at every dumb thing he’d said for as long as he could remember being in love with you for.
Finally he stood up and wandered down the halls, still replaying everything. Hating himself even more than usual for everything he did and said and how inconsiderate and blind he was. After a while he found himself outside your door. He thought about knocking, but then what if Sam was wrong? He decided that he couldn’t wait to find out.
You were reading when you heard the knock. Thinking about Dean made it impossible to sleep, but when he came into your room, with a dazed expression, a pang of fear hit your heart as you hoped something bad hadn’t happened to him while he was out.
“Dean, are you okay? I thought you were at the bar?” You asked, quickly hiding the tissue in your hand under your sheets. Dean came and sat beside you silently. His silence no longer scaring you when you saw his thoughtful look. He stared at your face, thinking about what to say.
“Dean what's going on?” You asked, putting a hand on his arm. He was so warm, he always was, warm and steady and reliable in every way but the way you needed. Dean’s eyes found your face, pleading.
“Dean, you’re making me nervous. What's wrong?” You asked again.
“Y/N, do you know why I go the bar almost every night? Why I surround myself with beautiful but emotionless women?” He asked softly. You didn’t understand why he was asking you these thing, but it felt like he was twisting an already embedded dagger.
“I don’t know Dean, I- I don’t care, I was about to go to sleep.” You responded, not sure if you could keep this conversation going for much longer. Dean’s eyes seemed to widen.
“Do you really not care? Like really really not care at all what I do?” He asked quiet but desperately. You just stared at him, unable to answer. You didn’t want to admit that you did, even a little. But why would he be asking you this.
“Y/N… I’m scared, you have to help me out here.” Dean begged. You finally realized why he was begging, or at least you hoped. Tears wanted to escape your eyes but you swallowed the lump in your throat.
“Dean- I… I do care. Of course I care what you do. Bu- but it's not any of my business.” You forced, heart pounding against your chest, almost painfully. Dean shifted on the side of the bed, getting closer and putting on of his hands on the bed on each side of your body. You could feel his uneven breathing on your face.
“Do you want it to be your business Y/N?” He whispered. You remained silent, his proximity seeming to render you unable to speak.
“I love you Y/N... That's why I go to the bar every night. To forget, to be emerged in distractions like alcohol and women with no strings, and horrible karaoke. So I don’t have to think about all the reasons that I can’t have you.” He said finally. But everything after ‘I love you’ seemed to fall away, unimportant and irrelevant. Your hands slid up his arms and resting on his shoulders, using him, as always, to steady you.
“Dean… I need you to kiss me, right now.” You said quietly. Dean’s eyes widened and he laughed nervously.
“Did you not hear what I just said Y/N?” He asked smiling sadly. You did hear it, it just didn’t matter. You put your hands on his cheeks, his stubble tickling your palms.
“Dean, I heard you. But it doesn’t matter, nothing matters. The only thing that is important, that we need to focus on, is that you love me, and I love you. Now kiss me.” You said confidently, believing every word coming from your lips.
“Y/N… You love me too-” Dean started but you couldn’t hold back any more, your lips crashed into his, cutting him off. He quickly responded by opening his mouth, inviting you in and in turn, causing you to open yours. Dean reacted to the touch the same way you did, feeling as though you’d both been waiting for this, anticipation nagging at your every limb. Dean pushed you back onto the bed and quickly straddled you, grazing your waist, hips, shoulders, arms, and chests with his exploring hands. You found the hem of his shirt on the bottom with one hand and began tugging impatiently at his collar with the other. Dean came up for air breaking apart from your lips.
“Y/N… Are you sure you want this? This- we, we’re not simple. This relationship will get messy.” He asked nervously, wanting to know that you were sure. You laughed, you found it ridiculous how little you cared about the potential consequences of what you were doing.
“Messier than it already is Dean?” You asked with a grin, pressing your face into his shoulder. You felt him laugh.
“Touche`. Well you wore me down baby girl. I’m convinced.” He announced then buried his face in your neck, scattering prickly, wet kisses all over your neck and chest, making you giggle uncontrollably.

Welcome to the Life (Chapter 3)
Sooooo here’s Chapter 3, hope you guys are enjoying it so far :D
Synopsis: The reader has moved in with the Winchesters after saving her from the Vampire that killed her family. Dean and the reader have started off on the wrong foot but her and Sam are getting along well as friends. Will the reader become a hunter? Will she make up with Dean?
First Chapter: here
Second Chapter: here
I don’t think I need any warnings for this chapter, mostly character and relationship development :/
Word count: 1561
The first week with the Winchesters was much less eventful than you had imagined it would be. There were no life-threatening situations, ghosts magically appearing, or intensive hunter training as you’d imagined there would be. All the week consisted of was getting to know Sam, and watching Dean from a distance.
You had liked Sam from the very beginning. He was easy to approach, smart, kind, and very accommodating. He went for a run every morning and ate salads and protein shakes. He took care of himself and seemed like a very self-respecting person, and as an extension, he seemed to respect others. He was very easy to get along with, too easy in fact. And you began to sense that the reason he had jumped on the wagon for you to be a hunters was for a couple of reasons: You imagined that he was probably getting sick of being in the bunker with Dean everyday, people like him usually liked projects and I guess turning your weak little ass into a hunter was a pretty great task, and you had a small, creeping suspicion that he was developing a slight crush on you…
Dean became confusing. He wasn’t heartless, it was painfully easy to see how much he loved his brother. But he was so hard to get along with. And after your little dispute, he tensed up every time you spoke to him. You hated how funny he was, every time he said something hilarious or sarcastic you had to stifle a giggle or turn away so he couldn't see you smile. Sometimes you caught his piercing eyes staring at you from across the room, flicking away as soon as you caught him. You’d figured your presence here was somewhat of a bother to him, and his looks seemed to be laced with disdain.
Overall, the experience was boring, you wound up reading a lot of books Sam handed you with a warm smile. One night he came into your room and sat on the bed.
“How’s it going?” He asked casually. Running his fingers through his long hair, getting it out of his face. You marked the page of your book and set it on your bedside table. Sitting up and looking down at your fingers.
“I’m fine considering everything I guess. You know that I’m not changing my mind right? I feel like the only reason you’re holding back is because of Dean.” You said quietly, never having made Sam mad and not wanting to start. Sam bit his lip and looked up at the ceiling.
“Yeah, Dean has been acting strange lately. He’s had a hard time and I see that you guys are still icy with each other. But listen, I know he’s difficult to like, but he’s had it harder than anyone I’ve ever met. And if you ever want to be a part of our team, the two of you need to stop hating each other.” It was hard to argue with Sam when he was so diplomatic, and you had come to dislike the hostility between you and Dean, it wasn’t easy living with someone that you hated, especially when there was really no one to talk to other than Sam. Sam took a breath and thought for a minute, looking at you and biting the inside of his mouth.
“Listen, if you and Dean can get along. I’ll start training you.” Sam said slapping his hands on his thighs and standing up from your bed, looking at you with a sorry smile. You rolled your eyes.
“That's gonna be hard, I kinda hit a nerve with him I think.” You said, regretting your comment from a week ago now. Sam shrugged.
“Despite what you may think, Dean likes you. He appreciates spirit, and I’ve yet seen him stay mad at a pretty girl for very long.” Sam added, his smile now a coy grin. Being called pretty by this intimidating and handsome man threw you off guard a bit, blushing you couldn't help but agree to try to make nice with Dean.
“Can I talk to you without you glaring at me for a couple of minutes?” You asked, leaning on the doorway to the kitchen where you found Dean drinking coffee spiked with whiskey. He looked up at you lazily, a little too lazy.
“How many minutes sweetheart?” He asked with a sarcastic smile, tilting his head slightly. You uncrossed your arms, rolled your eyes and sat down across from him. He set his elbows on the table and laced his fingers, giving you his full, patronizing attention.
“I’m sorry.” You said shortly. He stared at you blankly for a few seconds, then raised his eyebrows and gestured with his hands to continue. He was pushing his luck but you continued.
“I’m sorry for what I said and how I acted, I want to be… friends.” You said, forcing the last word. Dean looked away from you, down at the table with one eyebrow raised now.
“So that Sam will let you be a hunter?” He asked. You were surprised, why would Sam tell him that?
“How’d you-” Dean interrupted you.
“He’s my little brother, I practically raised him. Typical Sam move, always the peacemaker.” He sighed, half talking to himself. You mentally kicked yourself, you could have lied your way out of that one but now Dean would never make up with you. He looked up at you with hooded eyes.
“Seems that you and Sam have decided that despite what I say you’re gonna try out the life. So we can bury the hatchet, but here’s the deal. I’m training you.” He explained, leaning back into his chair. You stared at him suspiciously. He wasn’t so easy to read then.
“Why do you want to train me?” You asked, genuinely curious. Dean grinned.
“Sam will go easy on you because likes you. I won’t, so who would you rather train you?” He asked, clearly testing you. You smiled and leaned across the table.
“Go hard or go home right?” You replied quietly. Dean’s breath caught slightly and he let out a laugh.
“I’m gonna break you in sweetheart.” He put his hands behind his head. Your pulse picked up, and your palms became sweaty. You were gonna show him what you were made of.
Picking Dean to train you was the worst idea ever. Not a week in and you thought you were going to die after every exercise he made you do. After you got a phone, he began face-timing you and making you run laps before he even got out of bed. You could hear him muffling against the pillow telling you to run faster, and that if you weren’t dripping in sweat by the time he woke up, he’d make you run tomorrow's laps carrying weights. God you hated him.
After your laps you ate breakfast. Dean didn’t monitor what you ate because he ate whatever the hell he wanted, usually trans fat packed pies and greasy dripping burgers. At breakfast Sam was happy that all three of you were all talking to each other. Even if you and Dean were swearing and throwing things at one another.
“You’re actually so immature. Grow up!” You yelled from across the table. Dean smiled annoyingly.
“I know you are but what am I?” He responded through mouthfuls of food. Sam nudged you with his foot under the table to get your attention, a gesture that seemed a little bit too friendly to you.
“Hey if you want we could go out and get you some new clothes so that you don't have to wear our old flannel.” He offered. The two of you hadn’t been seeing much of each other lately with Dean’s intense training. He didn’t seem to extend the offer to Dean. You smiled, appreciating the break and wanting to be alone with Sam for a while. He was sweet, he made you feel like the only person in the room, and he calmed you. Dean made you feel crazy, irrational, and unable to control the horrifying fact that you wanted to slap him and kiss him all at once. It was difficult living with two men like them, you felt on guard all the time.
After breakfast you were walking to your room, but Dean cut you off in the hallway.
“Get some sweats and stuff like that for training while you're out with Sam alright?” He told you, his voice resonating deeply in his chest. His voice always shocked you, like a crack of thunder every time he spoke. You always managed to recover though.
“Yes coach, anything you say, anytime.” You rolled your eyes and pushed past him. He turned around after you passed him.
“You’re doing better than I thought.” He said from behind you, you stopped walking away.
“You’re tough, you might not die on your first hunt.” He added, you could hear his stupid amazing grin. You smirked.
“Already survived the first, remember? I was saved by two gallant knights. Or at least one of them was gallant.” You added.
“Oh? Which one of us was gallant?” He asked, knowing full well that you had meant Sam. But you couldn’t bring yourself to say it.
“I don’t know yet.” You said quietly and continued to your room.
