The only ending I will accept in Cyberpunk 2077 is Don’t Fear the Reaper. It’s the only one that satisfies V’s motivations and Johnny’s vendetta. If you die on your way to the top then oh well, much like the suicide ending you died on your terms and brought some corpo trash with you. Making it through though? It feels so good. From a narrative standpoint V has clawed their way to the top with sheer determination and nothing to lose (even better if you choose the corpo life path because you’re ending right where you started). From a gameplay standpoint it’s pretty fucking hard to survive so you best believe it’s rewarding.
