im so sorry about jadenray64's comment on your post - ppl in this fandom are way too comfortable telling others how they can/cannot interact or perceive canon (or the characters, and so forth). it's wild to me that ppl have to state that you are allowed to create your own art, your own interpretation, drop canon entirely, and so on. anyway! the point is - i love your art, and i support your interpretations (ur buckys are my faves), and if i didn't, it would literally not matter an iota.

Reimaginings like this make me feel uncomfortable. I’m sure I could dig deep and discover why. But that’s not the point.

The point is it makes me uncomfortable and yet we coexist peacefully.

I’ve read fics that describe the characters such. Some of the best ones I’ve read. And I’ve managed to survive.

In short, don’t consume if it’s not for you and move on.
