Thinking about sashannarcy today.... What if you went through something so traumatic it fundamentally changed you and you are essentially a war veteran for a world that doesn't exist anymore to anyone except for the two people who went through it with you. And then you slowly started losing each other and have to adjust in the real world by yourself, knowing there's no one else in this entire world who can understand what happened to you at the age of 13.

one kind of fic i actually really really love are those au longfics where due to the nature of the au the characters aren't really anything like canon, and are at that point just the author's ocs that are based on the canon characters. because they often have just so much love and clear joy for what they're writing that its just amazing to read. sometimes there is some canon in there, and sometimes there really isnt! and i love both. so shoutout to the authors that do this--and keep at it.

Amphibia finally gets greenlit for a movie and is somehow cleared for a PG-13 rating, so they get to say exactly one (1) "fuck". Multiple times throughout the movie Sasha almost gets it out in tense or emotionally heightened or action packed scenes but she always gets interrupted right at the f-.

Then right at the end, in like the last five minutes, Marcy mutters out like "well that was fucked up" or something and Sasha is visibly fuming behind her.

Marcy gets to both have a canon body count AND say the f-word before Sasha gets either of those, and it's what fate intended
