what a beautiful day to not be in high school

This is the like those “remember to be grateful you don’t have a sore throat right now” posts. It IS a beautiful day to not be in high school! Thank you!

Thinking about this big fucking squirrel I saw a couple days ago. It was so strangely large and fluffy and kinda just stanced up in the middle of the sidewalk, not an inch of the fear of god in its posture. It didn’t have that anxiety most prey animals have, it was sure of itself, confident that it would continue unharmed. It was so very unlike any squirrel I’ve ever seen, it had a courage greater than that of the average squirrel. I looked away for a second to grab someone and make them also behold its magnitude of size but when I turned back it was gone.

I wish I got to pet it but it would have given me rabies for my hubris
