So I fell back into the depression I’d fought to climb out of And I tore gashes into my skin like battle wounds. There were many skirmishes Between the Blue Funk and I, But to surrender till rescue— Lay down my weapons —And die for their Prince Charming to kiss me alive Was a humiliation I, Daughter of Rome, Of Romulus, Remus, and the wolf Had never before suffered.

I am Diana, Goddess of the Hunt. I am not the soft princess of their magazines. I AM A WARRIOR, A soldier, a centurion in Caesar’s army, I am Caesar. I am Nero, I burn Rome to the ground.
