This blog is headcanon heavy. Like. Seriously. You’ll notice it pretty quickly. I have a tendency to do whatever the heck I want with my muses.

I will happily interact with muses that are based in Epic The Musical, Blood Of Zeus, Disney's Hercules and Hades! When it comes to pjo, it will be on a case by case basis. I'll be picky as heck. this is because of, well, me not entirely being a fan of the portrayal of Hermes? Can't exactly put my finger on what I don't like but. Heavy plotting is needed with pjo muses. Lore Olympus & Record Of Ragnarok & Kaos, however, are a big giant hard NO. Also, I'm totally down for writing with muses who are kids of Hermes, Dionysus, Zeus or Apollo! they are the types to have little one night stands. So.

Hiiiii!!! I feel really bad for having to do this, but with how expensive everything is, there isn't much else I can do for a solution. I grew up with two cats. One of them passed away early this year, and the other is now living with my girlfriend. This second one recently went missing for a couple of days, but when he was found, it was quickly found out that he had broken one of his hind legs. ( We suspect he likely got hit by a car but we're not sure. ) He's an old man, 15 years old, so we were already looking at the options with uncertainty. But we decided to give reconstruction of the bone a chance anyway. This was gonna happen earlier today, but when they were preparing him for surgery, his blood level and blood pressure went incredibly low. Now they suspect there might be more going on and are gonna keep him at the hospital for 24 hours.

All this is to say, this is all incredibly expensive, and we don't know how much of it we can afford. The prices are;

Emergency room: 950 euros

Hospitalisation: 1500-2000 euros

Surgery: 3200-3600 euros

Hermes is hovering upside down as he cups Veritas' cheeks, smile much more on the mellow side than usual. Each of his feathers is surprisingly sparkly- despite their lack of color. "I'm gonna be home late today, sorry!" The deity presses a kiss on the tip of his husband's nose. "Got a lot of work to do! But I promise I'll be back before you go to bed. Save some dinner for me, okay?"

— The touch is welcome - sweet, soft, gentle as usual. Though something seems off.

Oh. The feathers. His chest aches, his own hands cradling the deity's face for the moment. All those stars now fully engulfing him... it must be difficult. Can't imagine doing such a taxing job. But, someone has to do it.

"I'll set a portion aside for you my dear." A brief kiss on his forehead before letting him go. "Stay safe, alright? Call me if you need anything. I'll be here."

Once Hermes is gone, he sits quietly for a moment before returning to his work.

ughgugh i apologize for not having been around as much for quite a while. big life changes are happening in rapid fire pace. good changes! i have my own place now! and my girlfriend is helping me with getting a job, which should be able to get me to a place where my life is a lot more stable and less stressfull. this means that i'm currently putting about 90% of my focus into these things. of course, you're welcome to nudge me on disc.ord if you want anything from me. i'm always happy to chat. and i do intend to gradually become more active on tumbl again. it's just gonna take time and patience.

i am a forgetful role player.

sometimes i will post inbox calls, starter calls or interaction calls and i will happily begin … when i have muse for it, and sometimes i will lack muse, and i may forget about it all.

that is not because of you, the other part.

forgetfulness is something that we often frown upon, take as an insult directly towards us as a person. “but they never write to me”, “they always forget about me”, “i’m not gonna interact because they always forget” and while these things are totally valid, it must be said that forgetting things are human. not only is it human, but we should allow role players to be forgetful every now and then, simply because many, if not all, have lives outside of Tumblr that require a lot of them.

sometimes i forget because …

i am tired.

i have a lot on my mind.

i get lost in other tasks.

i have to prioritize.

i bite over more than i can chew.

i simply forget.

therefore it must be said, have patience. reach out. don’t just sit back and huff about how you “always seem to be forgotten”. some folks have a lot on their minds, and that needs to be allowed.
