What do you think? I posted this a week or so ago, but I find myself feeling conflicted about this project and squeezing in creativity in general. Le sigh.

I missed International Womens Day but there were red ukuleles and spider visitors next to red glasses and Liz Phair singing 'Wind and the Mountain' and it all seemed fitting.
I second that emotion.
I never said I was perfect.
I think they should name the 7 new planets after the 7 cats featured in Kedi, the documentary about the stray cats of Istanbul. Not to wax philosophical about the movie too much but I havenât been terribly inspired by politics or the resistance this past week. What the artist featured in the film says about Istanbul figuring out a way to cohabitate with cats (solving the âproblemâ of the stray cats) while reclaiming our sense of humor and joy in life really moved me and that is something thatâs been really hard to do over the past couple of months.
Itâs been a helluva week.
On January 20, 2017, the day I began this project, the day President Trump took office, I learned via Maria Popova of Brainpickings that Gray Wolf Press was giving away copies of Elizabeth Alexander's poem for Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009. I emailed them, thanked them for such a generous gesture, and Tuesday got my own chapbook! Spirits lifted again that day as it was one month earlier.
In honor of what happened last Friday night in Sweden, I compiled a little something about the past month using only Abba song titles.
After watching âSound of Musicâ I though of a comeback to California Congressman Kevin McCarthyâs warning to the state to âplay niceâ with Trump.
Beware resistance fatigues.
Do you suppose Robert Harward is a Spinal Tap fan?
The first to fall.
Tough to find something to focus on today but we did see the Lego Batman movie.
Trump insists he can bring the cost of his silly wall "way down". I have one idea.
Getting my public school child to hold this still was ridiculously difficult. I wonder if private school would have better prepared him for participating in mom's silly project?
TRUMP WAS RIGHT, THAT *WAS* AN EASY DECISION!
By trying to silence Senator Elizabeth Warren the GOP amplified her message.
