IT:
Come sarebbe se vivessimo in un mondo dominato da donne? Dove la sopravvivenza è legata alla prevalenza di una specie su un'altra, dove la gente non è ancora civilizzata ed esistono ancora creature magiche nascoste nelle foreste.
Questa è un po' l'idea che guida tutti i miei lavori, ma in questo dittico ho voluto rappresentare una cacciatrice mentre cerca la sua preda pomeridiana.
I colori sono complementari per sottolineare la differenza tra queste due figure, che nulla hanno in comune.
La prima, la preda, è tinta di blu, che è il colore della paura, del cielo quando arriva la notte ed è ancora un colore debole, non predominante, come sono invece il giallo e l'arancione dell'immagine della cacciatrice, un colore che ricorda il fuoco e cose forti.
Forte è anche il suo sguardo mentre cerca per la sua driade.
La posizione delle foto porta le due ragazze a non potersi vedere reciprocamente, perchè, forse, non si sono ancora viste, ma già sentono che qualcosa sta per succedere.

What if we have lived in a world dominated by women? Where survival is linked to the preponderance of one species on another, where peoples are still uncivilized and magical creatures still exists hidden in the forests.
This is quite the idea that heads all my works, but in this diptych I wanted to represent a poacher looking for her afternoon's prey.
Colors are switched to stress the difference between these two figures, that have nothing in common.
The first, the prey, is dyed blue, which is the color of fear, of the sky when it's turning to night and is also a weak color, not a predominant one, which is instead the yellow-orange of the Poacher's image, a color that reminds of fire, of strong things.
Strong is also her gaze, she is looking for the horned dryad, which is hiding somewhere.
The position of the photos leads the girls to not see reciprocally, because, maybe, they haven't still seen each other, but they already feel that something is starting to happen.

Trucco, capelli e abbigliamento sono stati realizzati e assemblati da me; ho cucito la gonna lunga di "Poacher" e realizzato le corna di "prey", qui sotto troverete oltre ai close up dei particolari, delle immagini bonus dei miei progetti e devo dire che soprattutto nel caso di Poacher, amo come la mia idea sia diventata realtà con pochissime differenze!
