"I've heard a noise"
From the new series "In the dead of night" Dopo mesi di silenzio per via di impegni miei (purtroppo )':) sono riuscita finalmente a realizzare una foto che avevo in mente da tantissimo tempo, e con essa innauguro la nuova serie intitolata "In the dead of night" Cosa tratterà questa serie? Le foto saranno per la maggior parte ambientate durante le ore notturne, e riguarderanno temi che secondo me sono strettamente legati alla notte: il sogno, le paure, gli incubi, le fantasie, le visioni.
Io ho il terrore del buio, lo so, anche se ormai ho 20 anni. Però, vedete.. il buio è così buio che la mia fantasia mi si ritorce contro, in un certo senso, facendomi sentire e vedere cose che proprio non esistono. Ecco, da qui nasce l'ispirazione per queste nuove foto. -------- ENGLISH: Many times I have to walk near a wood to go back home and everytime I look at it expecting to see a monster o a person coming out, watching me. I know, it's only fantasy, but I wanted to stop feeling crazy and realize it for real. I shot that photo during the day, then I made it seem night and lightened the lantern.
What about this series? Night has always been seen as a fantastic and mysterious situation, many and many fairytales and stories talk about the strange characters you can meet during the dark hours and everyone has a different view of the night. To me night means dreams, fears, nightmares, fantasy and vision. This because darkness is a great fear of mine and because I am more a day person than a night one. So I will, with some photographs, deal with that feelings and thoughts.
