First time poaching an egg in the microwave. Not bad and it's easy peasy. In a microwave safe bowl, add about 1/3 cup of water (I used a 2 cup Pyrex measuring cup) Add a splash of vinegar, a dash of salt, crack egg into water. Poke a hole in the yolk. Cover and cook for 60-70 seconds on high. Every microwave is different so play with the times. Scoop up egg with slotted spoon. You can set it a paper towel to remove moisture... I didn't it went straight onto my sour dough toast. Sprinkle with Everything but the Bagel or your choice of herbs, salsa, Tabasco or hollandaise sause. Enjoy with a delicious cup of French toast.
