and not to say anything would have ended up differently. Dark Cacao is still Dark Cacao. the only difference here would be that overprotection would have driven that kid to the same path as neglect did for Dark Choco (similarly to Rapunzel in ITW).

Both still would lead to that cursed sword. Both would be estranged. And Cacao could only blame himself.
