Inception/University Edition

Yusef dragged Eames to an open mic night by the campus. There was this cute girl who sang heavy metal songs from the 80s, in her cute sweet voice that was both endearing and over the top. Yusef needed Eames for moral support because tonight he was asking her out on a date.

Eames bought another pint, watching Yusef moon over the (Yusef wasn’t wrong) adorable singer who was currently singing the hell out of a Metallica song but in an acoustic, mellow way. Creative for sure.

Eames looked down at his mobile. Cobb was late as usual. He had just met this bird in his French tutorial. Everyone seemed to be falling in love. Soon he would need to find some new friends to go out partying with.

The first notes of the next song caught Eames ear. Was someone singing Bad Romance acoustically? Seriously? When he heard the voice though, Eames needed to see the boy singing. 

Eames fell a bit in love the minute he laid eyes on Arthur. Confident, smiling Arthur with dimples. This couldn’t be the same stick in the mud Arthur he had met recently in his BComm class. Arthur in BComm wore ties and suit vests with his hair slicked back. This was not him.

Yet it was. Arthur had a hidden wild side. Eames couldn’t wait to see more of this new Arthur. Eames was glad Yusef had dragged him out this evening. Now if Eames could convince Arthur to come back to his place tonight.

One time in high school I was waiting to talk to the Vice Principal and this other kid came in and sat down next to me. He said “What are you in for?” And I said “Oh, they just want to know if it’s cool if I miss my classes tomorrow to run sound and lights for a presentation in the auditorium. What are you in for?” and he said that he stabbed a kid with a screwdriver. I told him we led very different lives and he agreed.

Just an FYI: this article and interview with Tom was mostly fake, with made-up quotes etc. If you follow the link to the Italian website, you’ll see they’ve taken many of the quotes down. 

It’s completely outrageous that any so-called journalists do this. This person must have been very desperate. Or just very, very stupid. Or both.

Anyway, I believe Tom IS going to the Oscars, but he never told this reporter that. Nor anything about what he’ll be wearing.
