It wasn’t long till another girl and her companion entered through the general hub of the Star Gate. It amazed Chise how many different worlds were spread through the general area, which led her to wonder how many more worlds left that she hadn’t traveled through. Elias had gone through one, leaving her and Ruth to themselves mostly to do what they pleased. Spotting the other girl not too far away and raised a brow. Another traveler ? Huh, she never got a chance to meet anyone while wandering toward the transitioning between worlds prior.

“Oh, hello!” She calls toward the other, legs moving straight toward the person in question. While Ruth was trailing behind her, allowing himself to be seen. She wasn’t sure if she was traveling or lost among most of the Star Gates. “….It’s rare to catch someone in between worlds….”

          Penny had only been exploring for a short while when another joined her. Often she found herself alone in this place. With just the pillars of light and her she got all too overwhelmingly curious. Wanting to see it all and know it all at once, it was a very specific kind of curiosity and one that was hard to satiate. Suddenly the other girl was moving quite quickly towards her, calling to her seeming as happy to 

She met the girl with a large smile and a positive attitude, “Sal-u-tations! This is a place between worlds?” She took a moment to process what was actually being said. “ .... Well that does make sense”

             Never had she seen another within the paths of the Stargate. Surely, she did believe that it was something she had discovered due to her plethora of spare time. Upon seeing the others, her emotions were betwixt the state of being intrigued and feeling a sense of uncertainty. Despite knowing that her powers would still be present during the time of her absence from the land without magic, a part of her was still anxious whether or not her magic would be erratic or not within the stargates.   

           ‘ Ah, I was not expecting company.  ’  She spoke in a soft voice, adjusting to meet her gaze with the other briefly. The other’s attire did not belong to any realms she was familiar with – perhaps, there were one too many places that she had yet to exploring.

          Penny was all to happy on her own in the Stargate, exploring in her own right. She had seen several interesting worlds and she was just weighing her options when she was interrupted. Of course, the redhead always welcomed the company of new friends. She pulled her nose back from one of the more interesting pillars of light to face the older woman. It was curious to see someone in the in-between world, though she knew nothing of this place so really anything was possible.

          “Sal-u-tations!” The exclamation was quite a contrast to the woman’s soft voice. But she couldn’t really help it, she was excited to meet someone new. “It’s a pleasure to meet you!” Already she could tell she was from someplace she had never seen before, which wasn’t much of a feat for the new traveller.

Curious Children

Traveling through the star world was always interesting, and a little nerve wracking, especially if you’re not even supposed to be there! Sneaking through when he really should be doing his chores, Akita couldn’t help but wander around the strange portal land, only able to tell which was his by a persimmon he left in front of it.

Stranger still, were the fingers sticking out of one of the portals. Watching them retreat Akita curiously followed them through the portal, stumbling a little through the bright light, never quite used to the feeling.

Akita came up to the girl’s upper thigh, and he looked at her with wide eyes. “I’ve never seen pretty bright red hair like yours before!” He blurted out, blushing a little at his manners. He had seen orange hair, blue hair, even pink like his, but not red! Giving a salute, Akita did his best to fix his first impression. “S-sorry about that, Master! I was named Akita Toushirou, what’s yours? Where is this?”

Penny had just be observing, wishing that someone would come through. She hadn’t expected those wishes to actually come true. The girl took a long moment to process this tiny thing staring up at her, and complimenting her. Her head tilted to the side and briefly her hand tugged at one of the very large curls along her jawline at the mention of her hair color. Not many people mentioned it upon first meeting. 

This person was just precious to her, she found it very cute how tiny he was with such pink hair. A smile lit up her face once she processed it. She knelt to the ground to be better at his height and outstretched her arms to him placing them gently on his shoulders. 

“Sal-u-tations Akita Toushirou! That is so nice of you to notice! My name is Penny Polendina, but you can call me Penny!” She was ecstatic to meet such a cute person, who seemed so sweet.

And that someone would be the leading knight of Ylisse, sir Frederick himself. Although curious as he was to the girl walking into him, even more so was he concerned over the loud clanging noise that came from it. A moment of shock came by him when he realized this as he took an immediate step backwards, finding himself in a rather worried position that the bump might’ve hit the girl a LOT harder than he thought. 

“ By the gods are you alright?! I’ve heard less come from the ringing steel of an axe against my very frame..! “

The loud, quite unfortunate metallic thunk caused her to stumble more than the actual collision. She stood up and brushed herself off, trying to appear as casual and as normal as possible. Which was kind of hard with this man exclaiming and pointing out the exact thing she was trying to hide. She had been in this sort of situation before but no one had really noticed the sound. She took a second to process what he was saying before responding as calmly and as naturally as she could.

“I am great! I have to be going now!” She turns on her heel.

Combat Ready and the Soldier

Immediate is the reaction of the 1st-class SOLDIER. Weigh of his next settled upon the rocky structure setting to rest before him. This goose chase was becoming a rather tedious one but what could one do besides attempt to come out of it alive along with the other life that was completely dependent on his actions. As prior introduced his actions were quick, even if it seemed inhuman, buster sword drawn and held out. “ Back off! ” Voice rose in demand to the presence that snaked its way when his back was once turned. Eyes set ablaze in flaming determination with the lack of intimidation one would often radiate when life was been tossing them back and forth, down and up, anything that were to be thrown at him Zack was set and prepared to attack for Cloud’s sake. Oh the poor boy. Assuming that the one before him would have been a turk but of course it seemed he had come to the wrong conclusion. “ Huh? ” Posture lost its stiffness, tension once claiming his limbs and extremities becoming loose and relaxed at the sight of the petite female who stood before him. In her eyes he came to deem that they were eyes of an adventurer a wanderer. “ You’re no turk… ” You don’t say? “ Sorry I just… I just thought you were after us. ” The man tried to justify the level of hostility he currently felt though was subtly diminishing as seconds skimmed them by.

------- Penny was just enjoying the warm weather when the sound of someone yelling surprised her. The sound of someone approaching her as an enemy, well young girl was caught off guard. For about a second. She was nothing in not trained-- and programmed-- well. She immediately turned to the possible threat, taking a defensive stance. The small little backpack attached to her backpack began to open as she watched him go slack. She changed from defensive mode back to normal just as quickly as he had. Her near assailant apologizing and lowering his weapon made it obvious to her that he would do her no harm, and this was probably just something he was trained to do. Just like she was. As her defense lowered her smile returned, happy to clear up the confusion. If she could. She herself was still quite confused as to where she was and how she got there.  She wasn’t entirely sure what a ‘turk’ was but it obviously wasn’t good. “Oh-- No. I am not a turk. I am a Penny. Which is a girl. A real girl.” Penny inquired softly and calmly, in a quite even tone. Though there was a slight hiccup at the very end right after ‘real girl’. “And who are you?”

———————Penny had already been scolded about wandering off approximately five times since the festival began. That didn’t change anything for the girl. She wandered into the pillar of light into the world with several of its clones. Trying to decide where she wanted to explore today. It wasn’t an easy decision with so many options.

She longed to be able to ask all the questions floating around in her head, but no one seemed to be interested in talking to her rather than staring. She stood wearing something that would seem quite out of place while being surrounded by people in their swimsuits or other beachy wear.

———————Walking around this strange place, Penny was thinking of more questions than answers. And she wasn’t quite sure if anyone would be able to fully explain it to her. But she definitely liked it! The little robot girl gleefully stuck her nose into whatever portal of white she happened to be standing closest to her, just to take a small peek at another world besides her own. Not that she was done exploring her own world. She did that with several portals, trying to decide which would be the very best for exploring today.

———————Penny stood before the pillar of light in Vale. She was very, very curious about this thing and where it would take her. Part of her hoped something or someone would come through it to answer her questions. She stuck her hand in and wiggled her fingers, watching them the light so bright it swallowed them whole. It was quite a curious thing to observe and one that captured the ginger’s attention and interest so completely. Her head tilted slightly to the side as she pulled her hand out again to observe if there were any changes.

Well she knew plenty, facts and figures and the like, but nothing substantial. She yearned to know people, and places, to have memories worthwhile. That’s what the real meaning of being human was wasn’t it? Memories that connected you to people and places? So once more, Penny found herself walking out of Vale through a pillar of light and into this strange place—and straight into someone.

——————————Penny was typically in the habit of wandering new places, even when she shouldn’t—especially when she shouldn’t. So it was no wonder when she meandered her way into a pillar of light, out of her own world and into another. She found herself in a hot and muggy place. The little robot girl looked around processing her surroundings for a small while. The muggy air around her dewing up on her synthetic skin. She let out a smile, more than a little excited to learn about this new place. She began looking for anyone who might be able to answer her questions, which was anyone breathing with a friendly face.

SALUTATIONS

My name is Lex. This is my first time playing Penny, but not my first time roleplaying or roleplaying a canon character. I have been roleplaying for about 5 years now, and I haven’t roleplayed a canon character for about 3 years I would say. This will be my first jump into roleplaying, once more, on tumblr. I used to be really into the indie rp scene until everything changed about the layout and how to cut posts, then I moved over to the Polyvore roleplaying scene where I still roleplay original characters.
