Do Not Cum & Die November
Cum So Hard You Explode Into Blood And Bones And Chunks November
So! @kiri-boy has received her xmas gifts today so Iām cool w posting this but this is the card I made her! The second picture being just a small part of the interior of course
A simple guide to picking a great color palette. No matter what the colors are, using colors that are certain distances from each other on the color wheel result in a great contrast of colors. The simple color schemes shown above are used in the most popular logos, posters, websites, paintings, and even movies and television.
How I draw kisses!
A quick tutorial/cheat sheet on how I draw kisses!! Iām going to assume you already know how to draw a head and how to angle it, because thatās an entire procedure in itself. Iām going to focus on mainly the lips and also try and tackle some common mistakes when youāre first starting out.Ā
Pursing the lips
So this is boring but crucial. If you donāt purse, their is no real kiss (take notes) bc placing your lips on top of someone elseās is not how you kiss⦠The most important part are the corners of the mouth, especially from the side view, because thatās what changes the most.Ā
The actual kissing yeee
Letās start do a basic side view kiss on the lips. And believe it or not, I think this one is the hardest! Ā
Think about which parts of the face are going to be in front of the other! This can take some time to get the hang of, but once you get that down itās easy. Also, focus on getting the heads at the right distance and angle. A common mistake is drawing them too close.Ā
The Lightning Shape:Ā
Still keeping in mind which part of the line is āRedāsā upper lip and which part isĀ āBlueāsā lower lip, play around with the shape of the lightning. Very subtle changes can have a very strong impact! I usually go by feel, so take your time, but here are some things to look out for:Ā
Details squishing etc.
So yeah once the lightning shape looks good, I usually add details and squish parts of the face that will touch. Which usually includes the noses, but from this angle they wonāt squish unless you intend on making nice big noses <3. By now it should look something like this:Ā
You donāt have to add the corners of the mouth! I usually do when I want to show that the character is smiling.Ā
One technique used a lot in anime/manga + other cartoony art styles, is fading lines where two soft-ish objects press hard against each other. The picture above explains it.Ā
Common mistakes
Getting down the crucial kissing part of fanart is hard and you will mess upp SO MANY TIIIIIIMES, but you learn from your mistakes, so donāt be discouraged. There are some things though that I frequently see when people draw kisses that makes it look awkward and stale, many of which I used to do myself. Here are some examples:
Try your best to avoid these. Most of the mistakes have little to do with the lips and more to do with the angle of the head. So getting that down before you move on to the lips is important.Ā
¾ view Kissing
There are not a lot of angles where you actually see the lips meet (or at least not that I can drawā¦). Depending on how the heads are placed in relation to each other, you may or may not see the lips in a ¾ view. The way I have demonstrated is done in a way that the nose will bump into the otherās upper cheek.Ā
Aaand thatās about it! These things will make more and more sense the more you draw them. At first it can seem very hard with so many things to keep track of, and it is, but practice makes perfect!Ā
Rule of thumb: does the angle and position of the heads make sense? How are the lips going to align? What parts of the face are going to be in front of the other? How much will the lips purse? And finally, what is going to squish?Ā
Thank you for reading! š

Tutorial - Visors, Biolights and general Lighting Effects
I have been asked about this multiple times and finally had the time to make a tutorial for it! I really hope this helps, if anyone has any further questions, please feel free to ask!
Please keep it in mind: This is how I personally like to work and itās in no way supposed to be aĀ āTHIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO DO ITā thing. Thereās other ways to do this, other mindsets to go about this depending on your art style etc. You do your artwork the way you want, itās your picture and you get to decide what itās gonna look like! This is just how it works for me.
So yeah, this is how I like to do lighting and glow effects :D Go and try it out if you like! I hope this is somewhat comprehensible!

Thanks for asking! Iāve done one or two, but nothing lately. So hereās basically how I draw hands. First, imagine a cube-ish shape resting on a pivot. Of course, itās not nearly this flexible, but it helps when drawing and exaggerating.Ā
I normally focus on the basic shape and movement of the fingers in relation to the hand, rather than the individual joints, (for now) thinking of each of them just being a small piece to large sweeping motion helps to unify them.Ā
Then I think of texture. Hands can be beautiful, ugly, fat, thin, wrinkled, scarred, whatever. So try to put any of your figures characteristics into their hands. It helps define them a little at first glance, and can give the character a little more depth.Ā
Hands in relation to the arm is also important to focus on. Gangly arms with thin fingers can give a sickly appearance, large arms with scarred hands can give a large stoic appearance, and so on. Thinking about them as a whole helps to build character.Ā
Hands can be incredibly different for each person, so as long as you can build off of long sweeping motions, pivots, and character, theyāre pretty fun to experiment with. Hope this helps! š
so this is my coloring tut *coughs* but itās more like how i color than how to colorĀ h eck
"Over here, Little Cress." -- I meant to post this yesterday, then to post this earlier today (woops), but for the theme Satellite I did Cress and Little Cress! There's def like a sibling type relationship there right?
