German artist Albert Oehlen gained notoriety for painting on patterned fabric instead of utilizing pristine canvas. Beginning November 4, experience 15 fabric works from this important series created between 1992-1998 at Skarstedt’s uptown gallery (20 E. 79th St, NYC). Exhibition continues through December 20, 2014.
