ok this latest Smosh episode delighted me and this shot was so cute i had to draw it im sorry
this is my dhampir mushroom druid, Nore :)
So far I have paraphrase-quoted tumblr about mushrooms at least once ("you can't kill them in a way that matters") and why this is so fun for me is Nore's demeanor - despite her abilities, species, and gray-tinted skin she has a soft and friendly demeanor inspired by Aurora from Disney's Sleeping Beauty. A very sunny and warm personality even with all the creepiness she embodies.
The combination of her vibe and her words have already made a couple players creeped out by her (in a fun way), and ngl, I want more. If anyone has any other creepy mushroom quotes, hit me with 'em! I want Nore to keep up a very specific reputation in this group;)
My D&D eladrin monk Kiri has been at risk of becoming shadar-kai after being disconnected from her homeworld and forest, so she had to create a magic fey tree on the space ship we're on (magic space travel it's a whole thing) and I wanted to draw it
For those confused about the lore and thinking it's strictly D&D, worry not! It's heavily homebrewed. We're in a world the GM created, and in this world exists a fay forest and that's where Kiri was born/created by the forest (she isn't sure which and neither am I, it's fun to leave some stuff to the GM for surprises later)
Eladrin are elves that are basically fay-flavored - that part IS accurate to D&D lore, and shadar-kai are KINDA the opposite - elves from the shadowfell, like a polar opposite of fay, so when Kiri and her friends were whisked offworld magically all of a sudden, the GM and I worked out a sideplot where she'd start to struggle being that far from the forest, and possibly lose her connection to the fay part of herself.
That's where this plot came from - while Kiri is attached to the ship and tree she's psychically connected to our paladin* to occasionally help with insight checks but otherwise I am playing different new PCs for each planet our team stops on
(*he used a ritual that, technically, means they're married) (oops)

i'm sorry
i have to wonder every time i use the rain spell in Fields of Mistria... does the rain JUST cover my farm, or... does the whole town think some weird shit is goin on. and if so. are they mad @ me.
Medusa's Morning Coffee, because sometimes all a cranky morning needs is a lil' sippy
I'm sorry, the snakes have functional digestive systems or are connected to hers?? Idk anything about Greek myths but I desperately wanna know what's happening to the coffee being drunk by the snake mouths where does it go
Also raises the question of what happens if they, like snakes are famous for doing, swallow something really big whole
If the snakes' digestive systems are connected to hers, what about other systems? If Medusa smokes, what happens to her snakes? And vice versa? Someone draw Medusa and the snakes all sharing a joint.

"Okay so your characters will be from space in this Pathfinder game, and I want y'all to make weird characters, go nuts"
Oh GM, you have blessed me this day. We're from SPACE you say? Then I'm gonna play a piece of literal actual space that broke off and became person-shaped and gained sentience for fun
*looks left, right* ok my players aren't on tumblr i can reveal some NPCs for an upcoming session
(^ bonus points to who can tell which video game character inspired this firbolg druid)
also, cute dwarf lady lumberjack time!
ok now shhh no one tell my players, it's a secret
#why that's Ben from Coral Island#please let it be more than physical inspiration

In the game "Date Everything" you can turn your nice coffee maker into Kopi, a friendly barista who's passionate about coffee and loves to share fun facts and history about it. But that's a NICE coffee maker. So I thought to myself, what if the main character owned a Keurig instead?
completely forgot to post my self-indulgent Fields of Mistria fanart here smh
i love them your honor
this art piece is called "I closed my eyes every time it was time to pick colors, then closed my eyes and just used the Rectangle tool all over" [2025]
So if any of y'all saw this post going around about my niece:
So yeah, she inspired me and I wanted to draw The Sun's Gravitational Pool :D
I've picked a very specific color/style theme to illustrate scenes from the D&D game I'm running:) It's my first game, homebrew world/story (not going Exandria-level insane with it, I made ONE SMALL CONTINENT and they are STUCK ON IT) and we're two sessions in and it's going well ^_^
