This is a real story that happened to us. In January, a UN delegation came to our street. They didn’t help us. They have a few families on a list and they ignore everyone else. They ate fruits and snacks and drank mineral whatever in front of starving people who only have contaminated water to drink. People tried to talk to them, to tell them their stories, to ask for help, but they were dismissed.
This is why we have to rely on this campaign. No organization has ever helped my family. We only have ourselves and kind strangers who give us money. Please don’t let us down now. The war is back. Prices have skyrocketed. My soul and my hope are dying.
We’re so close to the final goal! Please, I want to be done with this so I can focus on my new semester without additional stress. I don’t know what I’ll do after, but for now, I want it to be done. I’m exhausted.

Hello world, my name is Eman, and I am seeking help here on behalf of my father, mother, and siblings whose lives have been destroyed since October 7. Before this war, we were living happily despite the simplicity of our lives, but all of this was destroyed. Since the first days of the war, the bombing was very intense and random, as if the sky was raining missiles on us. We were forced to evacuate to south Gaza strip, as we displace six times in multiple places in looking for safety, and each time the area in which we reside was threatened we were forced to evacuate immediately, until we arrived in the city of Rafah in the southernmost part of the Gaza , where we were informed that it was a safe area and its not. Unfortunately, it is now threatened and it is the last place of displacement. We are 7 individuals in Rafah for two months, residing in A tent that lacks the minimum necessities of life without any source of income
We did not know what happened to our house and my father’s shop in the north, since my father is a fabric and curtain seller in
Gzaz and this shop was where my father and my 3 brothers worked in, until one of our relatives in northern Gaza sent us pictures of our house and my father’s shop. Unfortunately, they were completely destroyed, and thus we lost our house and the only source of livelihood. Now the threat to invade Rafah by land is began, so there is no place now to escape from death. We have lost everything in Gaza and we hope to live in a safe country, we tryed to flee to Egypt, but unfortunately they are asking for $5,000 per person to be allowed to enter Egypt, which makes it impossiple for us to enter Egypt. as we are 7 individuals, which means that we need $35,000 to flee to Egypt, so I am here seeking your help to leave Gaza as your are our only hope, and I wish that we reach the goal as soon as possible, because with every passing moment the threat of invading Rafah is getting closer.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been suffering in securing water, whether potable or salt water. Every day, we are forced to travel long distances, carry gallons of water, and wait for hours in front of the station under the blazing sun until we can provide limited quantities of water. Despite our many sufferings in this war, The suffering of obtaining water is the most severe. I hope this war will end because we can no longer bear all these pressures in this life.

In Gaza, life is not just life, it’s a daily struggle for survival. Imagine being a father trying to provide the bare necessities for your family while trapped in a place that imposes impossible choices. For Ahmed this is his reality, a father of three children and an infant born amidst the tragedy of war, living in Gaza and facing an endless battle to secure the essentials.
Every week, it takes $650 just for Ahmed to acquire a modest amount of vegetables, a carton of eggs, and a kilogram of meat. While this amount might seem sufficient to some, in Gaza it barely covers their basic needs. His little daughter, Ronza, requires diapers and milk - the cost of diapers alone is $80, while two cans of milk amount to $27.40. These are simple necessities, but they come at a hefty price in a place where the siege has skyrocketed prices.
The hardest decision? Ahmed cannot meet all their needs. Between buying food and caring for his infant, he has to make choices, each one leaving him with feelings of guilt and anxiety about what comes next. Additionally, Ahmed cannot obtain cash in hand due to a lack of liquidity and the closure of banks in the country. Even when liquidity is available, he pays a 20 to 30 percent fee to access the funds needed to provide for his family.
But his story is not just about needs; it’s about the courage of a father facing an unimaginable ordeal. He is a voice calling for hope in a place where it is scarce. since i made this post people have tried to argue on it in some really disgusting ways honestly and it's shown me that a lot of you don't actually care about protecting your community. in the meantime emily is still begging just to get by every moth. they have a place now but are always short on money for rides, meds, rent, and other bills.
