Errr in the process of changing the name of the first one, formerly known as Anita, but she'll probably be Alina now. Second one is an AU version of Hayes, but I'll share more about my OCs another time

If Connor was a Terminator. Merged the designs of our RK800 with the endoskeleton of the T800.

Another WIP Detroit: Become Human piece. Since Connor's character has a bunch of references to the Terminator movies (e.g. Connor's model number RK800 vs the T800, or the "I'll be back trophy"), I thought it would be fun to consider a Terminator version of Connor in which he has one of those cool endoskeletons, is near indestructible, and out for blood.

Hello, I’m Yunior Guerra, 2D Digital Artist from Dominican Republic. I write these lines because my art career is threatened to stop dead on it’s tracks. Recently I was able to fund an used laptop from the help of friends and people over internet that bought old pieces of art I did. That laptop’s motherboard burned last night, leaving me again with no equipment to pursue what has been feeding, in a humble way, me, my father and brothers.

With barely any money to pay for food and living on a place I would rather not name, since this getting to the wrong eyes could make me lose that place, I’m in need of help. WIP Kara and Alice piece. Wasn't sure what hair color of Kara I wanted to go for, might settle on white or blonde. Anyhow these two are adorable and I needed to draw them to finish off the trio of main characters.

i really liked ur tutorial on drawing anime eyes but my problem is that i lack originality when drawing anime eyes.. like all of my eyes for all of characters will look the same or look pretty mainstream. do you have any tips on developing a good style for the eye shape?

Hey anon! I haven’t been very active on tumblr so I apologize if this reply is rather late. I would suggest two main things:

1) Look through different artists works who you like, and observe how they draw their eyes. You can try referencing some anime eyes of other artists, and combining traits of the different styles to create your own eye style. Eventually with practice, you’ll be able to morph this into your own eye style.

2) Study real eyes, and observe the different eye shapes of real people. Having a foundation in realism is helpful with anime anatomy as well. In learning how to draw realistic eyes, you can also learn how to exaggerate certain features that you want, and stylize them into an anime style of your liking. 

Another thing I would suggest, is try taking into account the personality of your character when choosing what eye style you want to draw them with.

hi everyone! here’s what i’ve been working intermittently on since august: my first ever animated short, and also my first stop motion! it’s a labor of love and a tiny bit of hopelessness but i did it and im very proud of myself :’) i’d love for y’all to watch it and hear your thoughts? on literally anything from the models to animation to my shoddy foley works to editing. please be nice since like it’s my first but i’d love to learn!!
