What started out as a sketch for Inktober prompt “radio”, soon became this adorable flapper girl! I’ve put aside realism for a bit, and I’m trying my hand at more 2D/cartoony style of illustration! “Just because you can’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t real.”

A little drawing inspired by a disheartening doctors appointment. I have CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) which basically means my nerves are turned on to the highest sensitivity possible. The slightest touch sends pain signals throughout my body, confusing my brain into thinking I’m in trouble, and then sending more pain signals back to my foot. CRPS is related to my peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage) which, all in all, really sucks.

On a lighter note, I liked drawing in this style! It’s quite simple, but extremely pleasing to the eye.
