Oh god I can just imagine all the infected ink that melts off of him probably mixes with his regular ink-flesh, being an ink blob 'n all. Accumulating until he is more diseased ink than himself and can no longer hold his shape, melting to death.

Does that happen to others? The disease just slowly mixing with the rest of yourself until it fully takes you?

Talking bout this bc of that one ask (I think for Nort?) about Ink being melted flesh and that being why Mugman is so disturbed about it being what's on his gloves (and yk, blood being a separate thing from ink)

Hey Nort. Idk if I’m the only one but lately people have been flashing the gore of the MOTM comic without better warnings. My friend saw an edit of cuphead and getting shot and got really uncomfortable.

I feel like we should enforce a gore warning more since people who don’t know the comic could be exposed (especially younger children) it feels like the warnings for gore are pretty loose. - Love anon

We do our best to tag our gore but I also recognize our art is VERY uncomfortable to most people.

I think we should spread around to put more gore warnings before edits or images, as Fly and I's art is definitely on the boarder of disturbing. There's a definite reason we keep raising the maturity rating of this comic

Everyone please remember to tag your gore, as many people already take enough necessary precautions to protect themselves from their discomforts like blocking tags and scrolling away! We just gotta remember to warn people!!

I'd ask y'all to spread this around jf you could :]

This. All of this. Another great way (at least on tumblr) to help is using the little "read more" option when featuring something unsettling on your posts! Put a warning above it and then place the image(s) under the line!
