Something interesting about the Wednesday/Tyler dynamic post Hyde reveal is that Tyler never brings up the kiss or really any part of their romance in a cruel way. Usually in a lovers to enemies plot like theirs Tyler would taunt her with that pretty heavily, especially since it wouldn't take much deductive reasoning on his part to assume he was her first kiss. And he does try to taunt her with/get her to admit the fact that she's attracted to him but he never brings up the one piece of undeniable proof he has-- that she came to him of her own accord and kissed him.
Wednesday Addams, who does everything she can to be an impenetrable wall of ice in human form, who avoids almost all physical contact and scoffs at romance and relationships and thinks herself so far above all normal teenage feelings and interests, came to the Weathervane with no excuse other than to see him, basically told him she trusted him and wanted to be with him, and kissed him sweetly. She smiled up at him softly. She let him gently cradle her face in his hands and kiss her again. She only pulled away because she had a vision.
And Tyler never says a word about it. Not when he taunts her about 'losing' in the police station, not when she's chained up in the crypt, not when he's desperately trying to get a reaction out of her in Willow Hill and not even when she verbally burns him to a crisp in response. Nothing else is off limits between them in terms of physical or emotional violence. They don't hesitate to hurt each other in any other way short of actually successfully killing each other.
But the easiest, most obvious weapon in Tyler's arsenal, he never uses. Why? Obviously because part of him really did and still does have feelings for her, we already know that, but that has never stopped any other antagonistic love interest in any other story so why?
Is it because they only got that one moment before everything went to hell and some part of him wants to preserve it? Is it because he doesn't want to hear her say it meant nothing or was disappointing or she wishes it never happened? Or does he just understand how monumental it was, how far out of her comfort zone she went for him and only him, how much she had to trust him and want him to even contemplate acting like that, and despite everything, he's just not quite that cruel?
Maybe part of him hopes that she'll see it someday-- that despite all the lies and betrayal, every angry outburst, every stupid threat, every fucked up situation and every failure to come through at the right moment, there was one line he never crossed, one little piece of her that he did manage to protect through everything.
Or maybe he would just really like to make out with her again and he's not stupid enough to actively discourage it. I don't know and I doubt Tyler does either, but it's something to think about.
