Posting my submission for @poketcg-art's sinnoh collab! The card I chose was Kouki Saitou's Toxicroak, a card from my own collection!
I took a few creative liberties with the full art version, but it still sticks to the original inside the window, so I hope that's okay?
Original Card and time-lapse under the cut okay so I tried adding a cut and Tumblr decided to fuck with the formatting of the whole post??? So no cut, sorry :(
Happy Phoenix Wright gets hit by a car day to all who celebrate! 🎉✨✨✨
🐦🔥💥🚗 🐦🔥💥🚗 🐦🔥💥🚗 🐦🔥💥🚗 🐦🔥💥🚗
In the year of our lord the Blue Badger, on this very day (in my timezone), yes, on 15/6/2026, Phoenix Wright tanks a car, gets flung head first into a pole and walks it off with a sprained ankle like the absolute chad he is
Feel free to join us in celebration y'all, we welcome anyone <3333
Happy Ides everyone! The main event will be starting soon!
Remember, we all want this bastard dead ☺️ but it's imperative that we remain calm and orderly so that the day goes smoothly!
To help with that, we have some small rules we'd like attendees to follow:
1. Small children and the elderly are to go first, then followed by the general public.
2. People will be allowed inside in groups of twenty-three at a time, to avoid crowd crush!
3. Remember to follow staff instructions and respect your fellow members of the senate, but otherwise, happy stabbing!
If you don't have your own, there are free knives you can borrow in the foyer! Ask at the front desk! (Please make sure to return them to the front desk when your turn is over so others can use them!)
What colour bandaids do people in the Pokemon world use when preparing food in a work/professional setting?
I know that (at least where I'm from) irl food workers are required to wear blue bandaids when injured, since blue is an uncommon colour in foods, and thus would be easily spotted if one fell in...
But the Pokemon world has oran berries, rawst berries and other blue foods that are no doubt used in cooking, so what colour would they have to use to prevent bandaids in cooking via easily distinguished colours?
Green and red are obviously out- veggies and meats
Yellow would be too similar to breads and cakes, as well as things like omelettes
Orange could maybe? be argued but again, carrots, baked goods, pumpkin
Purple would also be ruled out by berries, as well as things like red cabbage, purple carrots, eggplants, etc etc
Maybe they could use luminescent bandaids???? There would be difficulties spotting them in bright settings though...
Skin tone is obviously out, they're too hard to lose without realising it...
White is fucked from meringues to Alfredo sauce
Pitch black?????? Maybe????? If you were prepping dark coloured food (char, squid ink pasta) it wouldn't stand out though...
Overall, we need to sue every restaurant and food venue for poor workplace health and safety, for both the employees (difficulty recognising when a wound covering is missing) and the customers (no-one likes dirty bandaids in their food) /j
