He surely will give more gentle smiles and smirks, he will give body contact in the form of bumping shoulders together or patting someones shoulder, maybe even squeezing it. And he may give nicknames that could seem like an insult.

Arvin raised a brow, looking over at Adrian. “I guess I can manage to tolerate you too.” He teased, snorting softly. Maybe Arvin was the off one out of this group. Maybe his opinion on love and sex didn’t fit in with everyone else.. but he simply couldn’t agree. “You’re a buffet guy then.” Arvin shrugged his shoulders. “Scared to miss out and so you will have a taste of everything, always looking for something that tastes just a bit better than what you had before?” He smirked, rubbing at the side of his neck. Having Adrian talk about the strong taste had Arvin again punch at his shoulder. “You’re disgusting..” He sighed some. Yes, that topic weirded him out and Adrian surely had noticed that, hence he kept teasing. “The camera helped you recording me without consent.” Arvin shrugged his shoulders shortly. “Let’s face reality. People are most interested in gossip and sex, both topics aren’t my specialty.. so none of your viewers will be pleased to see me on a video when they want ... you. So the wave will be good enough and not scare your viewers away. But we should not consider.. more material. Blue eyes only glanced up as he listened to Arvin, a flicker of sadness hovering in his gaze. Thinking about this sort of stuff stung him in a way that he didn’t want to admit, but Zayn was grateful that he at least had Arvin to relate to and talk with about how he felt. Acknowledging how he felt with anyone else just felt… strange. It had just felt as though everyone else expected him to know more than them, to have some sort of information because of who his parents were. But Zayn had nothing. He was in the dark. “I don’t want to admit it, but… it’s not something that I can ignore either. They keep on sending in new students to replace the ones that were lost. What happens when I die? They just send in a new guy, right?” He grimaced, looking away for a moment to steady his expression. A small smile formed on his lips at the light punch on his shoulder. “Yeah… All of us need to survive.” A soft sigh fell out, Zayn rolling his neck about to ease some tension and stress. “Forgiveness is hard… Let’s just all get back, and then we can figure out how to forgive them. No… bad cases here, alright?” He gave Arvin a wider smile, reaching over to pat his friend’s shoulder. “Thanks for talking with me about it. The same offer goes to you. If you ever need someone to talk with. It was actually nice to talk to someone who gets it.”

“I like to imagine that we my be replaceable as gods but.. that we, as their sons, matter.” Though right now he wasn’t all to sure about this. He couldn’t remember Elijah warning him, checking in on him before the trip, which surely came with their tense situation and the fight. Which wasn’t exactly a fight but Arvin showing his frustration and anger openly to his father. “We.. can only hope there are good reasons for us to be here, good reasons for the sacrifices of our friends. Honestly, being able to glare at the titans is a great motive for me to make it back to the tower..” He looked at the hand that patted his shoulder, nodding. “Yeah.. we teacher sons gotta stick together. I mean, under normal circumstances it’s awkward enough to be the son of a teacher but around here.. I am not surprised of any mistrust that comes our way.” He cleared his throat shortly. “I just... wished we would have had a bit more support? Because.. at the lack of that, I really don’t know if they want us to survive out here. At least a survival pack, medicine.. anything that encourages our survival without having to fully rely on our powers.” He ran a hand through his hair shortly. Arvin got to his feet, smiling at Zayn. “I think I worried enough for now, gotta.. go back to.. survival stuff.” he shook his head, snorting softly before he left Zayn to himself again.

“That’s what happened to all of us man, we pick it up as we go.” He mused to one of the newer members in their group; who was honestly rolling with the punch better than most, Hayden included. “There was a clearing not far off I saw that had some decent natural protection among a decently size area for a good footing for the area. We should check it out and assess regardless.” Hayden nodded to the other as he nodded, they’d definitely need to work together to make it out of this experience in one piece. “I mean, I lived in a small town on the edge of a massive forest in British Columbia with no friends. The days I wasn’t in the forge, I was in the woods doing whatever I wanted.” The blacksmith smiled as he was something of an outdoors man; knew his way around bush and wasn’t generally afraid of the world around him. “Tropical is a little different than what i’m used to, but the same principals stand. Water, food, protection from the elements, know your resources, get sustainable as soon as possible.” Hayden shrugs as that was his main focuses of their camp.

Arvin nodded. “I think.. generally, the basics of survival can be used in any setting. It’s about shelter, food.. and you can find this anywhere, though, the resources may be different. But a tropical setting like this just offers as much wood.” Though, a tropical scenario was never one Arvin got to really explore. He was one usually hiding in the woods, less sandy, less tropical.. less warm. “Look at you, another nature boy.” Arvin playfully hit the other males shoulder while his blue eyes would wander to the sand shortly. “I think if the group sticks together.. we can make it.” arvin was a bit tense, the situation was just kinda heavy, since they were left on an island in which they had to gather their food and encourage survival. he didn’t remember signing up for something like this when taking the place as.. Artemis. “I kinda think... it’s my duty to hunt? it’s expected of me... I mean, the goddess of hunt? And this is like.. pressure, a lot of it. Because what if I suck as a hunter? Is this the time to proof myself worthy? Is this whole trip something to test if we are worth the godly guidance given to us?” he rubbed the back of his nose.

“Weak?” Arvin snorted softly, shaking his head, blue eyes lowering to the ground. “I don’t remember them being weak when you battled me.. they were strong and hurt like fuck when they attacked.” He could admit that part because it just helped to underline whatever he was telling the other. He meant it. Declan shouldn’t feel weak in comparison to the others. “See... there are so many other things you can do to help the group and hunting.. hunting isn’t for you.” Of course he didn’t want to turn down Declan but he just felt like hunting was the last thing the other should do. “Do you even know how important your herbal knowledge is around here? You can figure out what plants we can actually eat..” He was watching the male, giving him a soft smile. “We can make... comfortable mattresses out of the fur but I am afraid that we definitely won’t have any success to prepare the furs for our needs.”

“I’ll go with you.” Duncan was eager to both learn about the tower and get a good foot hold or introduction of the place or the people there. He didn’t like the idea of being the new guy again after just now starting to fit in with everyone else. “Thanks, I’ll watch your back too. Not going to hurt if we try and stick to a buddy system. I mean we should all look out for each other but if some of us focus on one specific person…might make things easier.” He wasn’t sure how well the idea worked but if it got him an extra pair of eyes, then that couldn’t hurt. If he was being honest, cat people always drove him crazy. He didn’t know why, but it seemd they always had differing opinions about everything. but he kept that information too himself. “I’ll be your hunting buddy and your drinking buddy. No reason we can’t be both. I get drunk and you get to hunting,” he teased, giving the other playful shove. He was starting to feel the effects of his drink now and he could feel himself loosening up. “If you do, let me know. I’m not a nicotine guy but pot kinda fits in with the whole partying thing. Speaking of, I’m thinking of having a little party back at camp pretty soon. Get everyone enjoying themselves….kind of my gift to everyone for being so welcoming.” 

“Yeah, I will hold you up to that promise, okay?” Arvin was smiling shortly, definitely hoping Duncan would be the last Dionysos he would meet anytime soon, or ever again. “Yeah, I think the buddy system is a good way.. like, we know it’s probably best to never be.. completely alone on this island. Stick to your shelter buddy and when we are on a hunt, stick to me.” He was smiling softly, he even chuckled when Duncan explained just how he was going to assist. “Yeah you better don’t only drink on the hunt, I may appreciate a cheerleader but then, four pair of hands can take down an animal much easier.” He winked shortly at Duncan. “Dio has a reputation of getting more capable when drunk so.. I hope you can live up to that.” He looked around shortly. “A party..” He was snorting some. “I am sure the others would appreciate to let loose.. though, you just better make sure they don’t get too drunk or else we are not able to defend ourselves if something is going to attack us.” He was patting Duncans shoulder. “Honestly. Right now I would just smoke anything. My nails.. are shit from my nervous habits at this point. So yeah, if I find some weed, I’ll let you know and share it. Getting stoned on my own doesn’t sound too nice.”

Our.. reputation shouldn’t matter.. like, you shouldn’t think about what you will be known for. You’re still alive and I think youre doing a good job so far.. and I think making clothes, out of fur is a hell lot of work.. especially here on a tropical island, fur or leather clothes don’t seem too nice.” He thought for a moment. “I think preparing leather or furs.. actually takes weeks and we don’t even have the right chemicals..”

And he didn’t take it personal, after all in his previous life he was often underestimated and outcasted from close groups. Though if he was being honest, that was his own doing. “Don’t I know it. I certainly feel better after drinking though I have yet to get completely smashed. Maybe give me a few more drins and hand me the bow,” he teased. “Y’know I think I can make any kind of drink you want. I don’t think it has to be just wine.”
