hiiiii this is an intro post of sorts waow hello tumblr

i'm dawn, or adri, calling me by either name is fine! self declared vampire prince in the making and fictional character enthusiast. i'm queer and like drawing hot queer people especially if they've got long hair...

mainly here to post whatever art i feel like, be it original characters or the occasional fandom work depending on what fixation is in the brain rotation. huge into oc x canon/yumeshipping (that's what the kids call it these days i think?) so most fandom stuff may involve that!

posts will be rather sporadic; call it a digital mewstreak the way i ... (checks notes) ((there are no notes)) don't know how to finish this joke

main interests include: dungeons and dragons, stardew valley, limbus company, pokemon, guilty gear, deadlock, all sorts of music genres (been big into indigo de souza's music lately, check her stuff out…) 

BYF/BYI: i'm an adult so i'll (presumably) draw/post/reblog mature stuff; i'd prefer anyone who interacts to be an adult as well, and i might remove/block minors for that reason. DNI list is for me to know but i do block accordingly, exercise common sense + mind your manners and all will be peachy

ugh im so frustrated, i've just not had the juice for artfight this yr. like im trying but ive been stuck on an attack wip for like a week :/ my goal was just to get to 100 total attacks (over the years) and ive been sitting at 98 hrrrgg... i hope my weekend is productive art-wise, there's still so many limbus ocs i want to throw art at

its also so hot though that i just want to stay where there's air conditioning aka not the office where my computer is OTL

Last drawing for artfight Uueue they’re cutes 🥹🥹 Like the other four, I’ll draw full drawings for them eventually to make up for not being able to do so during artfight. Adeline especially deserves it I think because his nui was a bit rushed (thought I had like. Ten minutes left . Didn’t realize until after i posted the attack that i had an hour 🥲)

About this composition, I wanted to emphathise how in the design, both of them use swords but the handle were decorated differently. They point it in opposite directions too. Adeline of the present who has the sword out and ready while Adeline of the past is still unsheathing it. 

The forest of fences look like it's closing in on them. Adeline is protecting her with his back turned, while she looks hurt and betrayed. Like the title says, "You left me to be King", she resented the person that left her behind, even if it was for her protection. Am I reading too much into this?

Also everything looks staged, like they're acting out a play. There's a spotlight, wind, smokes and petals just like what you'd see in a theatre show. Even more reason for Adeline to be resentful in the unlit spot.
