So, I'm shocked this even needs to be addressed but here we go, again for the umpteenth time. Eddie suggesting the woman's leg needed to be amputated was NECESSARY! They were literally stuck inside of a train, her leg was crushed, they couldn't lift the concrete slab off of it and Buck tried to make a hole so the water could drain but that didn't work.

Were we all watching the same episode or what?

It's completely and utterly mind boggling that anyone could watch that scene and think Eddie made a mistake by suggesting they amputate her leg. He was doing his job and Chimney knew it was the only/third option (Bobby taught all of them about the third option) they had left and it's the reason why he chose to do it. He's the captain and he went and got the husband's permission before he proceeded. Also, before he made the decision, he sent Ravi to get a trauma surgeon from the hospital but one wasn't available.

All of you Eddie hating asshats, please GTFOH with that $hit.

And FYI, Eddie was a combat medic and he did two tours in Afghanistan and he has a silver star. He reminded the audience of it so please STFU if you're blaming him for doing his job. He didn't want to amputate her leg but he weighed the options and it was the only one they had. She lived didn't she?

Some people will find any little thing to blame Eddie even when it doesn't make any logical or narrative sense. 🙄
