I was listening to another voice memo I did a year ago today and thought I’d write it here:

“I’m very interested in King or Romulus whatever name you may choose for him. I like to think that they (the sides) were still sort of personified even if none of them had spoken directly to C!Thomas or anything.

Unfortunately I’d like to think that it was tougher on Morality when the split happened. Because someone you knew is gone and now all you have is the resemblance in these two twins, incredibly similar to him but not the same.

The way i described the idea of them becoming one again is based on that one comic of them fusing I think by @/aimasup I thinkkk where they fuse back, IFFF that were a thing, the metaphor/analogy I used was that let’s say you have a bucket of clear slime, you give it to two separate people after splitting it perfectly in half, one adds red dye, the other green, making a fluffy red slime whilst the other makes a watery green slime, you can TRY to mix them together and get something, but it won’t be the same thing as before.

Which angst wise would be evilly delicious devastating to people who knew king before said split (COUGH PATTON WHO FEELS GUILTY AUGH COUGH.)

So. I just feel like very curious if he was even a character?? Or like anything like that or was he instantly two beings? Also id like to think that even if Remus and Roman know they were once one person if they’d want to be ONE again(I doubt) or even have to look back on that. That must be weird. Like a rose quartz kinda situation where you hear all about them but never meet them for yourself and that person is technically you..?? Kinda odd. (Killer episode material Joan hear my prayers)

Point was I really like the twins and I wanna know more about them. And even as a Roman fan I WANNA KNOW MORE AB REMUS. idk I feel even in his own episode it was more ab Patton and Thomas duking it out (HAHA GET IT.)

I think people look over the fact that Janus can shift into anybody and can convince them that he is who he is impersonating.

Like THATS CREEPY. People don’t talk about it much. In “Why is Dating Scary?” It was only until that point they realized that THAT was Janus, LIKE if they hadn’t gone back, they wouldn’t have known that wasn’t Patton.

Can you imagine how many times Janus has done that? I’m p sure it’s implied he’s impersonated others than just Patton. LIKE imagine Roman and Patton have a conversation, then the next day Roman brings up what they talked about and Patton is like… “what are you talking about? I haven’t talked to you since the last time we all met up in the living room?”
