Today, I had 12 kids to teach and i wasnt going to be nice.

So today, i gave them a quiz. 

For example, i asked why their horses had their mouths shut with a flash. If they didn’t know why and couldn’t explain why it was useful to them I removed it. 

If they couldn’t explain why they needed spurs, i took them off. 

if they didn’t know why they smacked their horses with a whip, i removed it. 

Had a lot of tackless riders… Hopefully they got the message, 

if you do not know why you are using that piece of tack- then you shouldn’t be using it in the first place.
