Edward: I'm not sure if we can trust Sister Swan.
Bella: Why?
Edward: Felix is a executioner! The Volturi are notoriously cruel and yet she joined them willingly! Who knows what she's telling them about us, even after they brought an army here. How can we be certain that we can trust her anymore.
Bella: That's not fair, she's my sister.
Edward: Regardless, I don't want either of them around, especially with Renesmee.
meanwhile in Volterra...
Felix: I'm not sure that I understand.
Sister Swan: What do you mean?
Felix: The Cullens, in their attempt to masquerade as a normal, happy family...decided that is was okay for their so-called foster and adopted children to openly date one another??? Surely, there was another way, any other way, to handle this!
Sister Swan: Apparently not.
Felix: And Bella just...was fine with that?? Happily married into the twisted up Brady Bunch.
Sister Swan: Honey, please, she's my sister.
Felix: Regardless, I don't want them around. For the children's sake.

I am having difficulties linking my masterlist into the sidebar with my new theme, so Iâm going to pin this post to make it easy to find while I try and work out the issue. Hereâs the link:

Telling Their S/o To Rest
Desire of the Endless
You and Desire been together long enough to know each others bad habits and unfortunately yours was currently becoming overwhelming.
You was lacking more and more sleep and it was a serious problem to desire seeing as it may lead you to not think rational or so.
So Desire finally approached you about it.
"You need to start sleeping better y/n its becoming irritating to see you wasting your sleep for tedious things"
You pout looking up at Desire "im not harming anyone and i do fine with little hours of sleep besides i have coffee to keep me going to"
"No i don't want to see you suffering in silence any longer understand"
You was suffering in silence with headaches and sometimes body aches.
Desire picked you up suddenly, you cling to them and closed your eyes opening them to see you was inside Desire chambers where they laid you down on the bed and placed your head on their chest. You could hear their heart beat steady and that steady thump slowly lulled you to sleep.
They said nothing while you rested but they made sure when you woke up next time you was way better and more focused so much so that you would ask Desire if they can do this until you have a normal sleep pattern again.
You both knew it was a lie you just wanted Desire close to you and they wouldn't have it any other way.
Dr. Ian Wright
Ian walked in on you once again on the computer working.
"You talk about me over working but at least i know when to go to sleep y/n this is becoming to much and i can tell your not really focusing at this point."
They noticed your sleeping schedule was screwed up worse then when they were troubleshooting Ziggy.
"Im fine beside all my work gets done on time plus i have my energy smoothie and such-"
"Love your look tired and your very stubborn what will it take to get you to finally get some sleep or at least go to bed at the same time i do?"
You wanted to ask Ian but you was to nervous to ask. "Um....can you....can you hold me?... maybe i can sleep better knowing your close to me" you said softly looking away and blushing deeply.
Ian chuckles "you could have just ask to cuddle Y/n i wouldn't have minded i love having you close to me."
So thats what you did, you hug Ian and rested your face at the crook of their neck their scent leading you to sleep immediately.
Ian promised to give you proper cuddles until death do you part.
Gren - Cowboy Bebop
You and Gren had a set system to help each other if they become to stubborn and right now you was being very stubborn about you sleeping habits and Gren wasn't having it.
Gren called you over one leg crossed over the other sitting at a table. You smile coming over and your eyes fall to their legs.
"Eyes up here love we need to talk about you and your sleeping habits."
You scoff "nothing is wrong with my sleeping patterns besides im awake now" you complained
"Yes you are up now but don't think i didn't notice you never performed today when you was supposed to ana told me you almost lost your balance and i know your heads been hurting because you ask one of the girls to give you something for your head pain so"
Gren raised a brow and you fold "okay i haven't had the best sleep but love i promise im trying.....okay im not really trying but im fine really"
"No dear im going to change my work hours so that me and you finish at the same time and ill make sure you get the proper rest"
You blush lightly. You would love it if Gren sleeps beside you again so you hoped Ana would agree.
Luckily for you she did and you was able to have Gren beside you kissing you softly and lovingly before watching you pull away turning around and smiling when they pulled you close to their chest resting their head against your own feeling you wrap your leg around one of theirs.
"Night baby" you said softly
"Good night sweetheart"

Imagine Being a Loyal Patron of the Theatre des Vampires and Catching Armand's Attention
Pairing: Armand x Reader
Word Count: 1933
Summary: You visit Theatre des Vampires and you notice things are exactly what they seem. You catch Armand's attention.
For months you had watched Santiago come out on stage and tell everyone what they were about to see was real and that he loved them for it. Every night, audience after audience was splattered with red syrup. Every night ending with a murder, a couple of hundred witnesses none the wiser. Assured by the same man that had previously stated that it was real, now telling them it was fake. Patrons convinced that the victims were part of the cast. Willful denial.Â
Ok but now that weâve established that reader and Beelzebub are bros what if Hastur comes to fuck with Crowley and reader and Beelzebub are having a movie night or whatever and Hastur makes some comment about fraternizing with humans and Beelzebub just says something like âI am your superior and I am telling you to fuck offâ
Oh. My. God.
Beelzebub has been spending more and more time on the surface
And its beginning to concern the rest of Hell but what can they say?
They are the Leader of the Forces of Hell
There must be a legit reason they are up on Earth
As time goes on, Hastur begins to realise that something in his life is missing
And thatâs fucking around with Crowley
So, he decides that would be an appropriate time to come up and mess with his least favourite demon
At least for a while
So, he rocks up at Crowleyâs apartment, ready to at the very least annoy him simply by being in his space when he hearsâŚ.no
Is that a human laughter?
Definitely does not sound like Crowley at any rate
Wrong apartment? Nah. Canât be.
Hastur decides to investigate and cannot process what he sees in front of him.
There, sitting with a human of all things was the Lord of the Flies, Prince of Hell, Leader of the Forces of Hell, Prince Beelzebub
The human was laughing at something that was being shown on theâŚ.he believes the humans called it a tee-vee as Beelzebub makes a comment about how the characterâs choice of actions did not make sense, seeings it lead to their injury
Hastur is just gobsmacked
âIâŚ.youâŚ..what?â Is all that comes from his mouth
The both of you turn to see the very, very confused demon.
âHi there, you are?â You ask, pausing whatever you were watching, waiting for an explanation
Crowley explained that every now and again he gets unexpected visitors
You just figured this person would fuck off once they realised that ya know. Crowley was out
He, however, ignores you.
âWhatever happened to âno fraternizing with humansâ?â His question seems more directed to Beelzebub than you.
âWhat I do in my own personal time is nothing to do with you, Hastur.â Came the cool response.
âMaybe Crowley has rubbed off on you, maybe you are becoming similar to theseâŚ.creatures.â
You feel a bit insulted at the creatures bit, but you know who Hastur is - Crowley has had many a rant in regards to him and what he is like - but you figured it was between him and Beelzebub
âAm I not your superior?â
âYes.â
âArenât you bound* to do as I say?â
âYes.â
âThen kindly fuck off.â
Crowleyâs reaction when you told him what happened was priceless and most definitely has gone high up into his âthings to remember when Iâm having a shit dayâ list.
*I couldnât think of another word to say fucken obey me bitch so soz if thatâs wrong. Its also 3am. Iâm very tired.
Iâm dead

The Avenger and Her Vampire
You had been in New York for college for only a year when your aunt called to tell you the terrible news of your parents passing. You didnât mourn with them, instead choosing to go back to school. There, you lost yourself to the grief and wound up with the wrong crowd.
For years youâve ignored your family, sending emails and postcards to let them know you were okay. But now that youâre returning to your childhood home, thereâs some very important secrets your family has been keeping from you. Then again, youâve got a secret of your own as well.

Request: Coming Out (Jane Volturi x female!Reader )
You lightly put a hand on Alecâs shoulder leaning up to his ear, on the tip of your toes. Alec turned his head slightly, his eyes shifting to you. âCan I speak to you in private later?â You whispered and Alec nodded. âThanks.â You stepped away and carried on as usual and looking for his twin sister, Jane. You had given up a lot to be with Jane. You were a missing person, having ran away to be with her and ultimately leaving your older sister Bella and your father behind. Bella and the Cullenâs caught on quickly what had happened and Bella had almost disowned you for forcing her to lie to Charlie that she didnât know where you were. To watch him in so much pain and knowing Bella could fix it but shouldnât, it was awful. You felt sympathy but she eventually came to realise that youâd have been forced to do the same thing for her.Â
When you came to Italy, you werenât actually exclusive to Jane. As a matter of fact neither of you really understood the connection you had with one another since you barely spoke to each other but couldnât be apart. Then it seemed that Aro spoke to Jane about you and ever since she seemed to actively avoid you, just as the ice between you both seemed to be breaking.Â
It had been two weeks of Jane avoiding you but her gaze always lingering on you. You wanted to ask her what you had done wrong but she wouldnât really speak to you and was always dismissive of what you had to say. Then you noticed you had been walking in on Janeâs talks with AroâŚa lot and he too soon began to pin pointed gazes between both you and Jane as though urging something to happen with his mind alone. What exactly you didnât know.Â
It really took a turn when you entered the throne room and Aro immediately wanted to take your hand after his quick greeting. He seemed to concentrate hard, eyes fixed on your hand enclosed in his. Aro then chuckled but gave no explanation as to why and casting a knowing glance to Marcus who simply returned Aroâs gaze. It made you nervous, Jane being in the room, her eyes pinned on you only made it worse, a strange fluttering sensation in your chest. You didnât understand why. âYou do not need to fear it, my dear.â Aroâs words tore you from the thought as you looked at him with confusion again. He chuckled as he released your hand. âIâŚI donât understand what you mean, sir.â You said quietly. âYou do.â He smiled knowingly. âYouâll do well to admit it sooner than later, my dear.â âSir, with all due respect I really donât know what youâre talking about.â âWell, if I may, it is very apparent from your thoughts that youâŚfavour female over men in romantic terms.â Aro seemed to be choosing his words carefully and it took you a moment to catch up and realise he was trying to be as appropriate and gentle as he could. Then it hit you what he was trying to say. âWaitâŚâ You shook your head, a lump forming in your throat. âIâm notâŚI donât- no. Youâre wrong.â Tears were quick to rise but you refused to let them fall. Aro didnât seem surprised, instead prepared to attempt to settle you. âI mean no harm. You need not upset yourself so.â âY-youâre wrong.â Your throat was almost closed, breathing beginning to grow slightly erratic. âMy dear, we do not need to speak of this any further.â âSir, that canât be right. Youâve misunderstood. You must have. Iâm not-â You could only deny it. â(Y/N).â Aro took your shoulders making you look at him. âCalm yourself. Iâve seen your thoughts. I am not wrong.â His voice was soothing but also had no room for argument. You couldnât push him any further and you honestly felt you couldnât push yourself to fight him either. You were quiet for a moment. âMay I be excused?â You asked quietly, with a slight tremble. âOf course.â Aro turned you towards the door moving you forward with his hand with a gentle touch. When you were gone, Aro looked to Jane who had no expression. âDonât be disheartened, my dear. Be patient." Jane gave him no response, her lack of expression not cracking in the slightest.
Aro called you to his office that night. You had calmed down but your judgement hadnât changed. You had a lot of questions about yourself, sexuality included but you werenât ready for such a conclusion. You couldnât be attracted to girls. Surely it was just a misunderstanding and there was a simple explanation. You thought of how you felt around Jane and the previous boyfriendâs who just never worked out. You thought you were too young to have understood what it took but that didnât explain the issues when you got older. Relationships never worked with guys yet you didnât dare think of girls. There was a tiny piece of you that you denied within yourself that you found girls very alluring. Yet still you refused to believe Aro. It had to be a mistake. âI apologise if my statement was too much for you, my dear.â âIt wasnât. It was just wrong.â Aro leaned forward, clasping his hands on his desk, eyes staring into yours. âWhy do you think Iâm wrong?â âBecause I canât be. There has to be some other explanation.â âMy dear, I sincerely believe youâre in denial. I say this because you arenât denying you feel something. Actually that you do but donât understand it quite yet. I say this because when I took your hand, you feel the same way as I do about females. I have a female mate. You are female and feel the same way as I did when romantically involved with females.â You felt the lump in your throat again. âLet me be clear, Iâm old but not oblivious. Neither are my brothers. Times are changing around us and so we must adapt. Quite frankly, weâve seen many things to fear and same sex relationships arenât one of them. You feel this way and that is okay. This is who you are. Itâs why you feel so strongly for our dear Jane for instance. It saddens me that I know you know this about yourself and you want to ignore it and it makes you were unhappy at times.â Aro watched as your mouth twisted, jaw quivering and eyes filled with tears. After a moment he held out his hand, a silent offer. You knew immediately what the action was. It was an offer of comfort but also an act to understand your feelings at that moment. After a moment you took it, taking deep breaths to counter the growing sobs. He slowly nodded responding to a statement you never said. âI know.â He whispered to you. âIâll tell you something else. It was a shock for Jane too. She is from a different era where this wasnât acceptable and never spoken of. I had to tell her the same a few weeks ago. Sheâs slowly coming to terms with it⌠And you will too.â Aro assured you.Â
It had always surprised you just how supportive Aro had been. It wasnât like him. You could only assume it was for Jane more than anybody. To keep her loyal to him perhaps. Regardless, in the end, he didnât just out you but Jane too. He caught himself before he confessed that Jane had very strong feelings for you. Backtracking and immediately telling you that âwas for both you and Jane to find out for yourselvesâ.Â
When you and Jane shared your first kiss, Aro was smug. He might as well have said âi told you soâ. Caiusâ reaction was priceless. He wanted to know when you and Jane became so close to begin with. Aro seemed to have not updated him since Caiusâ jaw hit the floor.Â
The two of you had rushed away for some privacy, the guards in swarms, large swarms. The Volturi always had some form of get-together every so often, allowing the ranks to mingle. Youâd describe it as a work night out if you had to compare it. Though the two of you had gotten very close, a last resort of hiding from the other guards. It meant the two of you were huddled in the corner of the outside corridor of the very busy throne room.Though you had gotten to close to one another that your noses were very close to touching. âThis is going where i think this is goingâŚright?â You whispered. Jane slowly nodded. âI think so.â Both of you had gotten even closer over the past while. Mentally you two were exclusive, no one had caught either of your attention. It was latched on one another. Yet neither of you had really taken the step of approaching the subject of exclusively dating and physical contact had been limited to hugs. It seemed like at any second that was about to change. However, neither of you had approached the subject of kissing either, yet another topic that would have to be added to the list. âDo you want me to step back?â You whispered, ready to step back but you felt Janeâs cold hand coil around your wrist. You asked because you knew Jane wasnât very comfortable with physical contact to most, if not all people but her brother. âNo. Donât step away.â Jane said lowly. Jane leaned closer, your noses touching. You barely got a breath in before Janeâs lips were on yours. You kept still, not wanting to cause her any discomfort. After a few moments you broke away. You exhaled. âWowâŚthat wasâŚwow.â âA first.â Jane mumbled to herself. âOn more levels than one.â You agreed. After a brief moment the two of you locked eyes. Your mouth twisted into a smile trying not to laugh. âTrust us to find the corner of the dark doom and gloom corridor for quiet and end up kissing.â Jane smiled slightly in return. âSorry, I get nervous in these situations really easily.â You said meekly. âThatâs understandable.â You took another breath. âWhat are we? Like what am I to you? I donât want to assume anything.â âYouâre a lot to me.â Jane answered. âI need more than that. What do you mean?â âI mean that, I donât want to see you with anyone else. I want to be in your life, I want you in mine.â âLikeâŚdating?â âI donât know what you call it. It was once called courting, I believe.â âYeah.â You nodded in confirmation. âI want that too.â Jane smiled slightly again and you took her hand. âLetâs get back inside.â Jane said after a moment of silence. âBefore someone comes looking for us.â âAnd finds us in a dark depressing corner of a dark and depressing corridor.â You added and Jane hummed in response, casting you a glance in amusement.
Demetri chuckled, getting Caiusâ attention. âWhat?â Demetri nodded to the other side of the throne room. Caius turned to see you and Jane in conversation but wereâŚâhandsyâ as heâd put it. Soon it was no longer enough to be hand holding as you played with one anothers fingers. Instead, your arms were looped loosely around Janeâs shoulders, Jane more than pleased, running her fingers up the span of one of your hands, the other at your waist. Both of you smiling and laughing, especially you. Jane wasnât one to laugh, it was a rarity and this occasion wouldnât be one of them. Though she was smiling more than she usually did. Caiusâ eyes widened. When did this happen? Caiusâ mouth gaped open, unable to believe his eyes, his glare only complimenting his surprise.Â
Soon it turned into a relationship, learning the tiniest details about one another. For example, Jane loved it when you scratched her back absentmindedly. You often teased her about the bodice of her dress was so thick you were surprised she could feel it. Youâd always get a small glare in return. She also loved small public displays of affection in greeting. There has been many times the guards would come across you both. Your arms would be wrapped around Janeâs waist or shoulders as you leaned into her, sometimes pressing a kiss to her cheek as her attention was elsewhere. Jane on the other hand could be very affectionate when she wanted to be but in public always kept close to you. If she couldnât see you for whatever reason, you were too far away and had best change that before she did. When alone, sheâd often nuzzle her head into your neck or even plant her own rare kiss to you. As though to remind you every so often that she did love you. She always spoke as though youâd be around forever despite you being human. You werenât to worry about that though. Jane was going to change you and then youâd be together forever and that was all.Â
The many months you had been together were the happiest you had ever lived. You knew she was the one. You wanted no one else, no one made you happier. You spent more time laughing with her than anything else and you almost forgot what you were so afraid of. It was just like any other relationship but your bond with Jane was better than you could have ever dreamed. On one particular day, youâd be leaving with the Volturi and Heidi thought itâd be fun if Jane did your make up. Heidi wanted to see every small moment between you both before that night. Jane shrugged it off, willing to do so if you were fine with it. You figured it couldnât hurt and so you both sat at the table gaining an audience of Heidi, Felix, Demetri and Alec. All looked pretty invested in the scene as Jane got to work. You kept as still as you could for Jane, looking at her as she lightly dabbed at your face with a base you didnât get to see. âI love the way (Y/N) looks at you, Jane.â Alec smiled, looking at you both but then sharing a look with Heidi who couldnât agree more. The corner of Janeâs mouth curled upwards in approval. When she was done you gushed that she did an amazing job, trying to hide your nerves about leaving.Â
Nightfall arrived and you were outside of the castle, by the fountain, waiting to leave for the mission. It started with the two of you just simply sitting by the fountain before you were hand in hand as she walked you around the fountain. Even joining you to spin one another through your giggling. The rest of the Volturi were also outside and Jane admitted to you she had no idea as to why. Alec got Janeâs attention and she helped you down from the fountain before turning her back to you to address her brother. You knew this was your moment but got nervous unable to move and your heart pounded in your chest. Alec wad unable to stop his twin turning back to you and pulling you into her side. âAre you alright, my love? Youâre heartbeat just got very fast. I can feel is racing against me.â She rubbed at your shoulder with her arm that was around you and you nodded with a smile, taking a breath before locking eyes with Alec for a moment.Â
You broke away from her, taking her hand before bending down on one knee. Her eyes widened as the Volturi around her buzzed with excitement. Even the leaders unable to prevent a smile. âWhat are you doing?â Jane asked. âI wanted to do this the traditional way.â You began as you dug around into your jacket pocket. Jane never got what she wanted. She was the witch twin that no one wanted. You did and you didnât want her to miss even a second of the experience. âSo I asked your brother first.âÂ
âWhat did you want to speak to me about?â Alec asked as he dropped you into the forest floor. You were evidently nervous which meant something was wrong. âI wanted to do this the right way and youâre the only blood relative Jane has left. I canât think of anyone better to ask.â âAsk me what?â Alec asked with unease hoping his twin wasnât in any danger. âI want to ask for your permission to ask Jane to marry me.â You said finally, rushing it out in on breath. Alec was very surprised, not expecting it. âSeriously? You arenât joking?â You shook your head. âNo jokes. One hundred percent seriousness.â Slowly, a smile broke onto Alecâs face. âYou want to marry my sister?â âSo I wonât lie. I donât know if I actually can for many obvious reasons but if I can, Iâd marry her in a heartbeat. Sheâs the one.â You were quiet for a moment before you quickly added. âwith your permission, of course. Jane never got this but was raised to want it. I donât want her to miss it.âÂ
Alec was touched for his sister. You had surpassed all expectations he had to earn his to his sister. You continued to do so by acknowledging Janeâs past. She was raised to want to be engaged, be married and have children but no one ever got down on one knee. Humans were very extra-curricular now with engagements and so it was heart-warming to see you work hard to go back to traditional method and ask for approval. â(Y/N), nothing in this world would make me happier than to have you as a sister. You had my approval long ago and have it now.â âReally?â You breathed. âYou make my sister happy and thatâs all I want for her. â You could cry. You felt the tears rising. âThank you.â You said quietly before you could no longer speak, overcome with emotion. To your surprise, Alec pulled you into a hug. You wasted no time returning it. âI already saw you as my sister. This only makes it official. You have more than my permission.âÂ
Now came the next tough and awkward part which might ruin everything. âSo, uh, thereâs only one problem.â You began, slightly muffled against his shoulder. âI donât have a ring and I canât buy one because Iâm a missing person and if i touch my account itâll be traced-â Alec cut you off. âDonât worry about that, Iâll handle that. I should also inform you that wouldnât be a regular wedding, some adjustments would be made.â You nodded. âThatâs fine. Thank you. Now I just have to hope she says yes.â âI think she will.â Alec smirked. âShe loves you and Iâm her twin, I know better than anyone.âÂ
âAlec graciously gave me his approval and had helped me out with this. Full credit to him and a few other guards for the ring.â You opened the box and Jane looked even more surprised. âSo only one thing is left to ask you. I donât want to spend forever with anyone else but you. Our time together has been more than a dream and a gift and Iâd be honored to spend the rest of me life with you. Jane, will you marry me?â Jane was absolutely stunned as everyone waited for her answer in excitement whilst you did the same but in anxiety. âI want nothing more in the worldâŚyes.â Jane nodded quickly as she bent down slightly to meet you and pick you up off the floor as the Volturi clapped with grins and smiles as well as a few âwoop woopâs being heard.Â
Jane let you work the ring onto her finger before pulling you into her, holding you close and mumbling how much she loved you. âI need to get you one- a ring.â Jane mumbled before pressing a kiss to your forehead. âDo you know we canât actually get married?â You nodded. âI donât know what happens instead.â âWell it means weâre technically married now by our kinds standards. We can make some celebratory things but really I just need to get you a ring and change you. If you really want something like a declaration.â âWhat do you mean?â âItâs no secret, my love. I chose you a long time ago. Youâre already my mate. Though I wonât deny the thought and the effort put into this is breathtaking. I got a mate and I got a proposalâŚthank you.â âOf course. I couldnât allow you never experiencing a proposal and when our several hundredth anniversary comes up and Iâm loaded with money I somehow magically have, I will buy you a planet.â Jane couldnât help but be amused. âUhâŚwhoâs name are we taking?â âMine.â Jane said immediately. âHey whatâs wrong with Swan!?â You were offended by how quickly she responded. âI refuse to share a name with your sister.â She sneered at the thought of Bella. Jane loved you, but hated her. No exceptions. âBut-â âVolturi. Youâre taking my name.â Jane left you no room to argue, sealing the deal with a kiss.
Fall Back in Love Eventually (Alec Volturi x Reader)
Volturi balls were probably nerve wracking for everyone. The Volturi had a reputation after all, a wicked one. Although you had a whole other level of fear. You were mated to one the most frightening vampires in existence. Alec. One of the four elite guards. Without doing much at all, he could rob anyone of all senses. A walking death trap.Â
You left fifty years ago. Whilst you loved Alec dearly and perhaps you always would, the decisions and life he had in the Volturi frightened you. As far as Alec was concerned he had a job to do. As far as you were concerned, he enjoyed torturing people and it wasnât left merely to a duty. Alec would do it on his free time. That frightened you, endlessly and given neither of you could agree upon it, the relationship fell apart. Alec tore up nearly half the castle when you left. He was furious that even Aro let you leave. That was understandable. Afton, as useless as he was to them, had to stay in the Volturi to keep Chelsea loyal. She was the glue. So why on earth were you allowed to leave? Alec was even more ruthless after you left, his anger and betrayal driving everything he did, even if he didnât show it. Perhaps that was to Aroâs advantage. To your surprise, they actually did let you go. Alec didnât hunt you down, Demetri didnât track you. They never checked in. They just let you go. You were lucky. No one knew about your bond to Alec. If they did, youâd have been a target long ago. You would have been dead or used as leverage. The only real friends you made were the Cullenâs and the Denali given you and Eleazarâs previous ties to the Volturi serving as something in common. Beyond that, they seemed to enjoy your company.Â
Naturally, the Cullenâs insisted you attended the ball with them. It was all about making amends and keeping the peace after all. You reluctantly agreed. Although as more time passed, the more you second-guessed the decision. Especially the moment you arrived.Â
You first caught eyes with Afton in the corridor, Chelsea was nowhere to be found. He nodded curtly at you and you nodded back. Afton was the least confrontational. You liked him. Whilst most guards struggled to really understand him- along with the dislike of not having to earn a place in the guard- you found him to be quiet but polite. Although he wasnât much of a talker. You figured youâd save yourself and him the struggle of conversation for now. Your luck ran out relatively quickly.Â

inspired by âthe night we metâ - Lord Huron
The Volturi and the Cullenâs always had a rocky relationship. The solution to this was very much dated in comparison to now. An arranged marriage was really the last option they had. It was decided Demetri would be the one and he chose you. He was very polite, a definite charmer but his attention stayed on you during your first meeting. He lifted your hand, pressing a kiss to your knuckles, eyes latched onto your golden ones. Neither of you were oblivious to how difficult this would be for the both of you. For you especially, it would be the calm before the storm. You did your best to foresee this as a journey and would be a good thingâŚbut you couldnât help but feel like youâd been sold off to a life of misery.
âI am not the only traveler Who has not repaid his debt Iâve been searching for a trail to follow again Take me back to the night we met.â
When the Volturi brought you back to their territory, things suddenly felt very real. You were very quiet a lot of the time. Demetri kept you by his side for the first couple of weeks as well as while the âweddingâ was being planned. Alice would be planning it, in hopes to help you settle a bit more. Surprisingly Demetri was very attentive to your comfort. You appreciated it but nothing about the situation was much better.
Things didnât go too well after the wedding. You wanted to go back to the Cullens, struggling to adapt to the Volturi lifestyle. It didnât help when Demetri was beginning to lose patience. Then again, it had been years and you were never really the same after your first feed with the Volturi. You could never forget it. You screamed and struggled as they forced you to feed on a screaming and pleading human. Caius ranted about the dramatics and how it was practically abuse for Carlisle to encourage such a way of life for you. You were starving but every fibre of your being told you not to do it. Eventually it was left to Felix, Demetri, Alec and Jane to make sure you feed. The twins held your head over the human, pushing you to feed as both Demetri and Felix, yelled at you to give in and feed. After three hours of this relentless treatment, your body gave in and before you knew it, you were feeding on the human. It was then that you were met with praise from the two men as you sobbed though no tears would ever fall.Â
When you were done, Demetri sat you up, wrapping his arms around you from behind. He mumbled to you about how this was good for you and that everything would be okay. You immediately tried to thrash him off, but he blocked just about all over your hits, forcing your arms to your sides as he continued to hold you. He told you to stop in a low voice. He expected this to come but this had to be done. It was that moment that he lost your trust in him and he knew it. It was completely possible if not definitive that you would never forgive him.
âAnd then I can tell myself What the hell Iâm supposed to do And then I can tell myself Not to ride along with youâ
You were then beyond angry when you heard that Edward and Alice had been in the castle with a human that Edward was apparently romantically involved with. The Volturi were not happy and you were fuming. So much so, you asked the receptionist if you could borrow her phone. You promised youâd return it immediately before walking away with it. You dialled Edwards number, luckily he had still to board the plane so he picked up immediately. Unfortunately, this wouldnât be a pleasant conversation. âEdward, you better explain to me what the hell youâre doing.â He explained which quickly grew into an argument. âI think you forget that Iâm the one who had to leave, to be here to make things better between both covens and youâve not only disregarded me but also disrespected me in so many ways.â You said firmly. Edward had no issues in defending himself. He was adamant that what he was doing was right as well as continuing with a moral argument. You didnât want to disrespect Carlisle in anger, so you finished with the last word. âEdward, if you give a damn about me, youâll think this through. I gave up everything for our family and make things better. Youâre wrong.â You hung up the phone, turning to see a smirking Caius. âMy apologies, Master. I didnât intend for you to overhear me.â âNo need to worry,â Caius continued to smirk. âI am relieved to see one of you have sense. âI justâŚI donât understand why.â You admitted, feeling a bit hurt at Edwards actions. Caius tugged you to walk with him. âYou donât have to understand why. It doesnât change that itâs wrong.â
âI had all and then most of you Some and now none of you Take me back to the night we met I donât know what Iâm supposed to do Haunted by the ghost of you Oh, take me back to the night we metâ
Later that night, Demetri entered your shared room. âI was informed you were told Edward was here.â You nodded with a sigh. âI donât even have words for it anymore.â You fidgeted with your wedding ring as Demetri sat beside you. âWould you like to talk to me about it?â Typical Demetri, he was always there in an instant. It always gravitated you back to him. You couldnât bring yourself to admit any love for him. You didnât want to focus on your feelings for Demetri. âGo onâŚâ Demetri encouraged you. âI canâtâŚfix this. I always did what i was told. I was the mediator. I fixed everything. I am the one to make things okay. I let go for two seconds and suddenly, Edward is being stupid and i feel like i have to run in and save everything. Yet I canât figure out how to fix it because iâm always being told what i had to do to fix it!â You took a breath. âI want to be told how to live because so far i feel as though iâm doing it wrong. Yet i know that living isnât so serious, it has never been so serious because in the end I control nothing in this universe- iâm tiny yet somehow i still feel that same cycle of wondering what i have to do to make everything okay as though the world will fall apart if i donât. JustâŚtell me what to do. What do i do to fix this?â Demetri was quiet, staring at you.
Your confession somehow brought you both together. Somehow he knew you didnât actually want an answer which worked because he didnât actually know the answer. He could only really say that it wasnât your responsibility to fix it. To hear someone else from the inside say it, it was a relief. You wondered if maybe you two could be closer friends. Now looking back, denial was a funny little thing.
âWhen the night was full of terrors And your eyes were filled with tears When you had not touched me yet Oh, take me back to the night we met â
You and Demetri were watching the world go by on his balcony when things changed for you again. You had become more comfortable staying with him. It had only taken many many years. You were spending time together before going to the confrontation. A pain that you wanted a distraction from and Demetri was more than happy to give. Everyone could be dead for all any of you knew in a matter of days. âSo if you liked a person, what did you do?â You nudged Demetri. âWhat everyone else did, talk, laugh, spending the time i had to with them but never made an effort. Theyâd be only temporary anyway.â Demetri smiled with a shrug. âAnd what if it was someone you loved?â You grinned. Demetriâs smile faded slightly, he turned his head to look at you, really look at you. You felt his intense stare it was almost smothering. Demetri didnât feel love for many people in his existence. He watched them come and go. When he chose you, he thought it would be the same. He didnât expect to love anyone. Some how against all odds, he had begun to fall in love with you and precious moments like these only seemed to seal the deal. There was beauty in everything you did. You were a better person than he could ever be. He had never said it though and you had never let on that you felt for him as he did you. âIâd never let them go.â He mumbled quietly. It was clear how pointed the statement was. It was directed to you. A promise. You wrapped your fingers around his wrist before leaning up to him. Demetri said nothing, instead curling his fingers under your chin with his free hand and meeting you in a kiss. Neither of you really spoke about what that night really meant for you both. Demetri kept the ball in your court, not wanting to push you. It was a precious moment heâd keep but it didnât mean your undying love or loyalty to him.
Seeing the Cullenâs and the Denali on the other side of you was hard. Especially knowing their fate if the girl was immortal. Irina promised you it was true and now seeing the girl for yourself your heart sank. There was a lot of talking which gave you hope that just maybe theyâd go free but you couldnât hold your breath. As Carlisle explained the girl, it became apparent that just maybe she wasnât immortal. When Aro met her, her heart was much more prominent, louder for you to hear and quick in fear. Your hope grew but so did your worry, because it meant Irina was wrong. It was then you realised the dark truth. Youâd be losing someone regardless of the turn out and you did. Demetri was quick to push you behind him, blocking your view when Irina was killed. You didnât know her well, only meeting her a few times but she was family none the lessâŚor at least she used to be family. Just when you thought it was over, the Romanians couldnât resist calling you out, calling you a traitor. Demetri pulled you into his side, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as he stared the other side down. You looked up at him before looking at the Romanians. âI chose Demetri long ago and IâŚhe knows how i feel for him. I donât have to hide it.â You looked up at him to find him looking down at you in shock. âIâll always choose you.â You said to him quietly.Â
You and Demetri were about to head back into the castle when you halted. A music festival was on tonight and you could hear the new song that was being played. A smile grew on your face. Demetri noticed, and couldnât help but smile in confusion as you leaned against the wall to your right. âWhat?â You reached out your hand for Demetri to take. âStay with me for a while. I like this song.â You sang the next lyric quietly as he gripped your hand, you tugging him closer. âTake me back to the night we met.â After a few minutes he broke away to head inside, heâd have to take up his position soon. You turned back only to be called on one last time from Demetri, softer than ever before. âI love you too.â You smiled at him before turning back to the festival. You couldnât help but think of your relationship with Demetri. He had been with you all along, being the good guy and the bad guy to help you, tough love if needed. Everything to the very beginning, when he first lifted your hand and kissed your knuckles. The night you met.

Summary: Their human partner tells them that they want to feed on animal blood instead of human blood. How would they act?
ââââââ⧠𦢠â§ââââââ
Demetri Volturi
Even though Demetri is a loyal member of the Volturi, not to mention essential to them, being with you and having such strong ties changed everything. Of course, he would know what it meant and the big change, no vampire there was vegetarian, if that's what you mean, he knew that the leaders played a role there too, but he would still show a lot of understanding towards your wishes.
Although he would feel worried for your safety; drinking animal blood might be less satisfying for you, not to mention it could make you more vulnerable in dangerous situations. That little beeping would be in Demetri's head constantly. Demetri just wants to make sure that you are well enough so that he can protect you in critical moments where he can't be there. He trusts you, he does completely, he knows that once you leave your mortality behind you will become stronger, and yet the worry would still be with him for quite a while.
He would try to find solutions, he doesn't want to interfere with your wishes, on the contrary, Demetri wants to fulfill each one of them, but he also wants you to be safe, so he would try to balance your wishes with the expectations of the Volturi. Sometimes having internal debates between his loyalty to his own and supporting you. It is known that the Volturi do not usually tolerate deviations from their rules, which makes Demetri find himself in a complex position when thinking about the possibility that your request is rejected and you suffer from having to feed on something you do not want.
He wants to understand you, to know your reasons, that is why he decides to have a talk with you where both could talk properly and negotiate the best for both. Taking your hands in his while he kisses them, wanting to support you in everything he can, because he is still kind to you, as kind as he had always been. He just wants to reach an agreement where your safety and his position within the Volturi are not put at risk.
He would be very understanding with you, in addition to his strong desire to want to find a solution, even after you went ahead sure of your decision, Demetri would accept it without any annoyance, just hoping for the best. Deciding that the best thing would be to seek permission from his leaders for you to continue on your own path.
His body seemed to have taken a huge weight off his shoulders when the answer finally came and everyone accepted. Maybe it wasn't simply out of kindness, it seemed more because of Aro's own greed, who seemed delighted with all this. Maybe because there was no one in his clan who was vegetarian and it would be a good way to study it and see the effects it would have on a vampire. Whatever the case, the vote had been yes so Demetri could come back to you with good news.
And as the days passed and the time of your transformation drew closer, Demetri hoped that everything would go well, having his complete trust in you. He knew that you could do well and if that was what you wanted, to drink animal blood so as not to kill humans, he would agree. Even if you later regretted it and decided to go back on your decision, he would always support you.
Felix Volturi
Drinking human blood is an integral part of his identity and Felix's way of life so your preference to drink animal blood would be something that would challenge his beliefs and customs.
Initially, Felix might feel confused and even a little frustrated. He might question your decision, worried about how this might affect your strength and ability to protect yourself. In his clan and most vampires in general, drinking human blood is seen as a source of power and vitality, while drinking animal blood is seen as a weaker option.
However, due to his great loyalty and love for you, Felix would go out of his way to understand and accept your choice. If you were happy, then so would he. He would just be worried, he wanted you to be out of reach in case he couldn't protect you, because if something were to happen to you he wouldn't forgive himself.
He would support you and try to make sure that once you were turned you were safe and well fed, he knew it would also be difficult for you to adapt to a new way of life overnight. Maybe he tried to get you to agree with him to drink some bags of human blood without having to catch any humans, at least in your first days as a neophyte to get stronger, but if that didn't work and you didn't want to then Felix would support you and not force you to do anything and would even bring you all the bags of animal blood he could get.
Felix had always admired you in every way, as a partner and as a person, but after your revelation more than ever. Admiring your willpower and your compassion for choosing a diet that avoided harming humans.
On the other hand, he would also face a dilemma because of the Volturi and their strict rules about blood consumption, no vampire there was vegetarian, so Felix feared that what you wanted could not be fulfilled. Imagining you depressed while having to feed on something that would cause you pain would break his heart. Even though you would no longer be mortal, Felix knew and you had made it very clear to him that you did not want to kill or hurt another human being, so while blood might be quite satisfying and essential to you, it would not feel the best after having taken a life.
Perhaps some time close to your transformation, Felix would come over to speak to the leaders, giving them some solid arguments highlighting the benefits of you being a vegetarian vampire, as well as proving all his loyalty in the last time so that they would trust you. It would all have been worth it if they then approved it, so when they finally do, Felix feels a great internal relief, giving his gratitude to the leaders while assuring them that this exception would not be taken lightly and he would be careful.
Feeling better when he sees your happiness at hearing the words come out of your mouth. Even though it was a different diet and something he was not used to, if you were okay, then Felix would be by your side to support you and take care of your well-being.
Jane Volturi (platonic)
Known for her cruelty and loyalty to the Volturi, Jane values strength and tradition, and drinking human blood was an essential part of that tradition. You wanting to drink animal blood would make Jane see it as a sign of weakness and lack of commitment to the Volturi values.
She loves and appreciates you, but this could cause her to react with disdain and disapproval, trying to persuade you to change your mind, nothing to do with violence or using her special gift, in fact, she would try to reason with you and explain why you should feed on human blood and how beneficial it would be for you. If even after listening to her you went ahead with your idea, it would only make Jane more frustrated, it's not like she was known for her patience or understanding, so it's likely that she would be harsh and unsympathetic at least at first.
The fact that Aro gave this a thumbs up was only because he surely had a plan in mind seeing the benefit that drinking animal blood could bring. Her decision could be one of strategy and exploring new dynamics seeing such a vampire in her clan. Still, Jane trusts her judgment and if Aro was okay with it, then she might accept it a bit more, albeit with some discomfort.
However, if you stood your ground the whole time, Jane might reach a point of final resignation with constant feeling of discontent. Of course, she supports you, but she wouldnât fully accept your choice. There could be some tension for some time due to this fundamental difference. She just wants you to be okay, taking a more protective attitude once you were transformed, making sure you donât put yourself in danger due to your current diet.
Over time, Jane might show more tolerance and patience, albeit with reservations. Her affection towards you would make her accept the situation⌠In her own way. With disapproval sometimes. Despite everything, Jane would still love and protect you, especially if the leaders had already given their approval. And if anyone were to say something, well, let's just say that Jane's patience isn't always there to save someone.
Alec Volturi (platonic)
Unlike his sister, Alec would act more moderately. Although he shares loyalty to the Volturi and their traditions, he is generally calm and thoughtful.
Initially, he might show surprise and some curiosity. He might want to understand the reasons behind your choice and assess the implications. Alec would not be as impulsive or harsh, so his approach would be more analytical.
Alec might express his doubts and concerns about your safety, as being a vegetarian vampire would be seen as a less powerful choice and more so if you belonged to the Volturi. He would make an effort to understand you and, due to his more understanding nature, he would likely accept your decision and support it if he sees that it is firm and well-founded, albeit with certain reservations. By being a bit more understanding he might adapt to this new dynamic, prioritizing your safety and happiness, as well as reminding you to stay well-fed.
Alec is loyal and respects Aro and the leaders' decisions a lot, so if they were to accept this he would feel more relieved, although he would also wonder if it could affect your decision within the Volturi in any way. But the backing of the leaders would surely give him more confidence. He would feel safer in supporting you without fear of repercussions. Alec is not stupid, he would know for himself that the positive vote would have been only because Aro surely had some plan in mind, he would not do it simply as a good gesture. Still, as long as you were not in any danger and it made you happy, then he would be more than willing to go along with it, especially if it did not endanger the safety or interests of the coven.
He could admire and respect your willpower a little, knowing that it would not be easy, he could even help get you some bags of blood for when you woke up from your transformation. He would certainly take it better than Jane, learning to accept and support the difference, trying to make you understand that he understands and values you. During missions he would probably remain as usual and just as efficient, although he could be more attentive and vigilant in case any threats that could affect you arise. Alec just wants you to be safe.
