FanFiction Update

I’m no longer taking requests, I’m taking an extended break from writing FanFiction in general and if I do come back to it, it’ll be writing what I want to write and choosing whether or not I’m going to publish it here or on my AO3. 2020 has sucked balls for so many different reasons, both within my personal life and globally and just in general I no longer find joy in writing - more so with certain fandoms than others. My masterlist will stay up, my AO3 will stay up, but I’m no longer writing unless something seriously seriously grabs me.

UPDATE 13/7/2021: Yeah. That thing that had to seriously, seriously grab me? It happened.

I’ve started writing again, if you would like to request something please leave it in my ask box but please be aware I’ll only write if the prompt inspires me. If I don’t reply to yours, I’m sorry but I’m trying to take care of my mental health. Additionally, I’m more likely to reply to headcanon requests specifically for Genshin Impact than I am for any other request 💚

'hyperfixation' does not just mean you really like something. HYPERFIXATION DOES NOT JUST MEAN YOU REALLY LIKE SOMETHING.

The thing I need people to understand about genuine hyperfixating is that it's not actually a cute fun quirky personality trait it can really fucking suck at times. Like do you know how shitty it is to not be able to get your brain off of a specific topic no matter how badly you need or want to do other stuff?

sometimes its helpful and fun sure but sometimes you can see the people around you getting bored/annoyed but you cant stop talking about your thing, you know you need to do something else but instead you keep watching the same two second clip over and over again, you run out of stuff to do with it and feel like you want to claw your skin off. It's a compulsion, it feels like a goddamn addiction at times.

Executive functions are in shambles. Nothing else gives you dopamine. It's almost physically painful.

Anyway stop saying shit like 'oh my gawd this smoothie is my new hyperfixation' no its not you just like it a lot.

Let the historical record show that Mr. Beast was entirely ignorable if you were just like doing literally anything else. I've been on youtube as long as it's been around and I've never been recommended a video by him. I see him in passing as a meme. I thought he was a made up joke, a caricature of bad youtuber content miners until someone I trust confirmed his existence to me in late 2025.
