Damn, was nobody gonna tell me the original concept art for the devil in s1 looked like this?
So cool
Let's be frfr tho, if we'd have had that devil, with Benedict Cumberbatch growling at us... you know EXACTLY what would have happened.
Ah, the triumvirate.
I would pay SO much money to see someone edit a Merlin episode but from Arthur's perspective. Like we only see whatever it is Arthur sees cause I don't think this fandom understands how absolutely batshit insane Merlin was/is ad just how much he actually got away with Arthur was hella tolerant. (It's also funny just imagining it)
The goblin episode!
I watched one fucking episode of Season 1 NCIS and

it only just now dawned on me that I’ll very likely learn who won the election from those Supernatural homosexuals. this is how we live now.
Show me good omens without it being good omens. I’ll start this off…
I feel kinda bad about this one... but season 2.

Good Omens season 2 fucked me up so bad I started watching Supernatural
Oh, dear. Well. That miiiiight not have been the best choice, if you were avoiding being fucked up by a gay angel.
Just saying.
Hearing Michael compare Crowley to David Bowie is DOING things to my brain.

Just... having thoughts.
Okay, everyone is talking about Aziraphale's "I forgive you." and I've seen a LOT of really interesting perspectives, so I thought I'd put my own two cents into the mix.
I think that line just underlines the fact that even though you've taken Aziraphale out of Heaven, you haven't quite taken the Heaven out of Aziraphale. Aziraphale still subscribes to the notion that the institutions of Heaven and Hell are a good thing; improperly managed and misguided for sure, but still fundamentally correct. I'm not saying this is wrong: it's been holding together for 6000 years, and it's not unreasonable to think that with a bit of fixing-upping, it could attain its full glory and potential. And believing in Heaven and Hell is pretty symmetrical to a black-and-white worldview, the false dichotomy of one right and everything else wrong.
Aziraphale, for all his loveable charm, still believes that Heaven is the one true right way. His "I forgive you", I felt, was a bit condescending and could even be construed as high-and-mighty because he's simultaneously saying Crowley is wrong and trying to be the bigger person by forgiving him when Crowley didn't even ask for it. Condescending and high-and-mighty is pretty much the motto of Heaven, and it's interesting to see that leak through in Aziraphale, showing that for all his flexible morals and humanity, he is very much a product of the system he still very much belongs to.
It's going to be fascinating to watch this belief system crumble before his very eyes in the next season, which is what I think is most likely to happen given the last 2 seasons of ineffable bureaucracy.
I think it's the arrogance of assuming people who Heaven sees as below them automatically NEED their forgiveness.
Aziraphale desperately seeks to gain validation from above and can't fathom that Crowley just... doesn't.
He thinks he's doing what's Right, but he definitely was wrong for it.
okay, so i'm probably not the first person to spot this but i haven't seen it on my TL yet so i'll just chuck it on here: i noticed this little easter egg we get when furfur is reading from his demonic guide for angelic beings (or whatever it's called).
please forgive the horrendous quality, as it's pretty blurred in the shot and amazon prime won't allow screenshots, BUT: if you squint really hard, you can read a few things!
so, this is clearly the page about aziraphale and first of all: i love the notes that furfur scribbled in there, probably only mere seconds ago when he watched azi perform at the theatre, since it literally says "TERRIBLE MAGISHUN" unterneath aziraphale's occuptation, lmao.
i can't fully make out his note on crowley where he circled his name, but the one written across vertically on the side of the page says something like "CROWLEY IS SUSPICIOUS" and, possibly, "HIS HAIR IS BAD" or "RED".
i think the part i love most though, and am REALLY hoping we might get a glimpse of, is that aziraphale, in between being the White Night back in Wessex and becoming a bookseller, was apparently a "Garden Desi(g)ner" and a "Bishop".
makes me think of the time azi pretended to be the american ambassador's gardener back in S1 when him and crowley were trying to influence warlock to (not) become the antichrist.
anyway, that's all i can make out. gave me a good giggle!
Plus, the "Report any interaction to the demon Crowley" bit makes me wonder how Crowley finagled that agreement out of Hell.
"Worthy opponent... demon smiter" indeed. 👀😆
