Valid, I myself decided that once fortune grants me an opening, I'd take him myself and make a whole deal where Amalgamus starts trying to look "normal" just so Onyx doesn't feel alone in his struggles with having to present as bipedal just to get rideformers used to beastformers.

Gradually, of course, they'll get to work toward not HAVING to do it just to look "normal" enough that people will listen.

Although Amalgamus is just the right persona for petty ordeals over conservative ideals....
