After all this time I still love Balthus and Claude’s supports and their friendship. I mean Balthus stays in Almyra ( although because people in Fodlan are after his head but that’s a given no matter where he goes ) with Claude instead of staying in his home country. The guy likes his friend that much.

Claude leaves a bowl of chocolates on a table. Or what looks to be chocolate. If one was to take a bite, they’d discover it is just a brussel sprout that is coated in chocolate.

Wonders if he can sell this and earn some coin for it. But he’s also hungry as hell so the dilemma is there. And he’s not afraid of no vegetable, the KING OF GRAPPLING fears nothing! Okay maybe Holst. Maybe Balthus should give the chocolate on the table as a gift for Hilda’s older brother. And if he doesn’t like it, he’ll say it’s from Claude.

Balthus is canonically 6 foot 6 inches ( 201 cm ) and like dang. I knew he was tall but this is just silly.

Small but important PSA but if you don’t like Balthus or his support endings, then don’t follow me. Why even follow if your opinion on my character is always going to be negative? I’m here to have fun and rp not to be constantly seeing posts about how much you don’t like my character or his supports in general.

----Some main points about Balthus’s story from supports in game / cindered shadows side story.

His mother, unnamed, is a commoner from Kupala, yet marries into the minor noble house, despite protest from all sides. Lord Albrecht and her marry out of love and not because on where they came from.

Balthus ( Von Albrecht ) is born with a major crest of Chevalier and thus, heir to the house. Carries somewhat of a stigma around him of being born with noble and commoner blood.

Still getting harassed day in and day out that she’s a commoner, Balthus’s mother is forced to separate from both lord Albrecht and Balthus and leaves into a remote village away from prying eyes to live out the rest of her life.

Balthus’s father is forced to remarry a noble woman from the region. They have Balthus’s younger baby brother, unnamed. However, the brother is born without any crest at all.

Balthus’s stepmother doesn’t like or want Balthus to be around, even though he’s the apparent heir. Doesn’t help that Balthus's attitude and unruly gets him into trouble often. 

Eventually, Balthus leaves the minor house in fear that his step mother would try to hurt his own mother as a way to get back at Balthus for even being alive. Or the deep fear about pitting his own brother against him because of this. He also has huge debts owed and tries to run away from his persuaders.

Sought refuge in Ordelia territory and was kept fed and shelted by the main house despite their own troubles. Balthus never forgets the kindness shown to him during this time and hopes to repay the family someday.

His travels stop the moment he enters the Abyss and the Ashen Wolves. The perfect place to lay low until everything was settled and that it was safe to come back out of hiding again.
