as a witch, what weird/creepy or unexplainable things have ever happened to you? I’m curious because a lot of witches I see online are sensitive to paranormal activity and have a connection to the spiritual.

i find it so weird when some people are like “Zeus wants to godspouse me” “the gods are like my servants and they always answer my prayers” or “I made love with x god” AND THEY’RE A MINOR. I find these things, and others, very disrespectful and reduce the gods to fictional beings and really makes our religion seem like it’s all fun and games. Im not disrespecting godspouses, okay. This is targeted to THOSE people who blur the lines between fantasy and religion. And I hope I’m not the only one who feels the same way because this is a problem especially since some ppl get misinformation

i was ranting to Lady Aphrodite about my day and i told her about this funny incident that happened a while back so why not share it?

i had broken up with this guy and he had a brother and this guy knew i was queer (he called me bisexual because he thought it was realistic). unfortunately for me, i had shared lessons with my ex's brother and he was the absolute worst. didn't care about boundaries or rules, just like my ex. so i told his brother that i'm dating a girl now and he was like "but you're not getting action" IS DICK THE FOUNDATION OF A RELATIONSHIP??? but i wasn't feeling petty that day so left it alone. and the next day i was passing by my ex and his brother in the hallway and apparently his brother called me a lesbian-fag (one of my friends was there so they told me). anyways, i confronted him because i really wasn't comfortable with being called a lesbian cz my school is homophobe CENTRAL. he didn't take me seriously so i was like, "fuck this, fuck that, you're getting hexed." in my head, duh

so i took a massive dump that day and wrote my ex's name and birthdate and I AM TELLING YOU, him and his brother were suspended a day later. and after a week, they actually came back to say goodbye to their pals cz they were actually expelled. moral of the story is, if someone's bitching around, SHIT ON THEM. not kidding

I was all giddy today when i undressed in the mirror. I was content with what i saw and as a person who only looks in the mirror to check on flaws, I'm quite proud of myself and I'm sure Lady Aphrodite was just like "She saw it! LISTEN UP GUYS. Idc if you’re trans, non binary, cisgender—you are beautiful. I’m saying this because a lot of Aphrodite devotees feel inadequate because they’re not “beautiful” or “handsome”. I’m telling you, just stop caring. Everyone wants to judge, everyone wants to hate, but don’t do that to yourself. Literally, get used to being you. Love yourself. Write yourself letters and really SHOW yourself that you are actually the epitome of beauty.
