Been noticing that one of our students was marked under a different name (male) on our documentation and her name was also different on her lunch box and I pointed this out to my coworker (a trans women) and she told me that the kiddo was born a boy but the family realized that she wanted to be “her” and encouraged her to be herself. It’s great to see a family accepting of that when their kid is so young (she’s 4 and 3/4th as she’s proudly told me)
