8/31/2018

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY!

Me, my bestie, and my sister were blessed enough to get chosen by Mama Swiftie to go meet the person who has gotten me through so many horrible and wonderful moments in my life. From break ups, to family drama, from falling in love and losing it then finding it again, and everything in between, I’ve always found a safe place and outlet in her music. From her self debuted album to red to reputation and now to lover. I don’t care if she is “country” “pop” “rock” “rap”, she will always have a way of speaking as if it’s directly to me through her music, as if she knows what I’m feeling and just what I need at the perfect time. I am so damn proud of her and how far she has come. She has truly taught me that “Haters gonna hate” no matter what and to just be yourself and not to give a damn what others think or say!

I haven’t talked a whole lot about my experience meeting Taylor, mostly because I am disappointed in myself, and I also do not want to sound ungrateful for the opportunity because I am in now way ungrateful. I just did was not able to form the words to say all the things to Taylor that I always wanted to. I literally felt frozen. In complete shock. I think I really said was, I love you, and thank you. My sister(god bless her soul) was there with me and was able to speak(so I didn’t look like a total freak just gawking at her). I never in a million years thought this would ever happen to me. I was in no way prepared. I should have taken a few minutes to sit down and think about the things I really wanted to say before I went into that room. But I didn’t. And for that I am super mad at myself and sad. So I’m just posting this hear in hope Taylor might see it someday and know the things I meant to say that I couldn’t say the day we met!

I know I said thank you and I love you but that’s about all. We talked about my sisters baby and how this was her first time seeing you and I bought her the tickets! I just wanted to let you know that there was so much I wanted to thank you for and I’m sorry I couldn’t form the words to do it then! I’ve been a fan since Tim McGraw and me and my best friend would drive around allllll the time listening to your albums! I think I wore out fearless for how many times it played in my black neon! It got me through sooo much! The first time I saw you live was at we fest and then again on the speak now tour! Since then I’ve seen you 4 time between 1989 and reputation! And I cannot wait for Lover tour! Last October I did something I have NEVER done before and flew to Arlington all by myself for your last show! I was scared shitless but I did it anyway! You’d be proud! Anyway I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for writing so many relatable songs that have gotten me through so many bad and good times in my life. I will never stop supporting you and I will always have your back! You truly have taught me to be myself and not care what others think or if they like me. As long as I’m true to who I am. That’s been so important to me because for so long I was always someone who was so worried about what everyone thought so THANK YOU!!! When I was younger i used to feel so uncomfortable with myself, while my friends used to go to the beach and take photos in their swimsuits, I was ashamed of taking a photo next to them. Around two years ago I decided to change it, i learned to love myself and take care of me, do some exercise and eat healthier (just a lil bit hehe). I wanna let you know that i didn’t make that change to look like the models on the magazines or because other people told me that I needed to change, I made it for myself, to feel confortable and confident, and obviously to be healthier. I have seen a lot of post of people sharing their stories and I’m personally so proud of everyone, you are so gorgeous and inspiring. Love you all💘💘
