I'm at the final chapter of my thesis if not included with the corrections and reformatting needed to be done. Damn... Can't believe this is already the end.

Yesterday, I was doubting myself if I ever could finish my thesis on time but today, I nearly finished it... I don't know but a wave of emotions will probably hit me once I put the last letter in the document

Just this is the interpretation I got when I started watching The Untamed last year's August, where I needed a Chinese drama to watch for the semester break until I found this gem.

Plot twist to the next plot twist and the characterization of the characters, the tension, every single experience I had in the drama is a roller coaster ride and I ended up loving most of the characters (well except Wen Chao, we don't talk about him).

It may be confusing in the initial chapters, but once you get the drift, you fall in love with their characters more, and eventually, their actors who brought the characters to life especially Wang Yibo. I was really blown away by his performance as Lan Wangji that I keep taking pictures of his subtle expressions as if I'm making a meme. It doesn't mean that I don't love Xiao Zhan, in fact, he's the reason I'm searching for X-Nine and binging their songs currently. I just fell for Wei Wuxian before Xiao Zhan himself throughout the drama. If there's someone I would like to make as a brother, Wei Wuxian would be one (coming from an eldest child).

I think this got too long so I'll end this speech here. But in short, it is a premise that keeps sticking in my heart.

Hello, I'm hamdi 🇵🇸 After 100 days of displacement, my family and I found ourself forced to leave our home and land in Gaza. 🏡💔 The journey to Egypt was not a choice, but a necessity imposed by the harsh conditions. we crossed the border, carrying with us scattered dreams and hopes for a better life, but we quickly realized that displacement was not the end of the suffering, but the beginning of a new chapter.

In Egypt, we are stuck between a bitter alienation and a painful reality. 😔🚧 We do not have residency, which makes every step difficult and every day full of challenges. Prices in Egypt resources are unforgiving, and the ones we brought with us are quickly melting away. 💸 While we try to endure and survive, our hearts remain attached to Gaza; The homeland that never leaves our minds or leaves us for a moment. 🇵🇸💔 Our loved ones there live under siege, and we live under the burden of alienation and worry for them. Every day in Egypt feels like an endless wait, and every contact with Gaza opens a door to pain. 📞💔 Returning to Gaza did not alleviate the anxiety, but rather confirmed to me that the suffering continues, whether we are inside or outside.

This is probably the final year where the three of us will go around do our things and go outings together and sometimes, I longed for the three of us to never go apart but as a quote from Code: Realize said: We may go into our separate paths but our bonds will walk on. Hopefully that's the case.

I've spent a wonderful time with you three and even thought the possibility that I may fight alone since foundation studies but the three of us keep each other's spirit alive and you guys are the reason I need to live. This year, it is not just I spend quite a time with you, but to celebrate with my fellow classmates as well who at times pat on back to tell me that I am not alone. Thank you to all of you. This Appreciation Awards is not just to repay my hard work but it is to celebrate together in times of joy and gloom.

It's been awhile since I posted art here but I made a quick sketch as a tribute. 2 days ago, my elder cousin left his family peacefully at 2 am and it was a devastating blow to my aunt's family, especially to my cousin's younger siblings my aunt herself. So I thought of making a tribute using my OCs who visited his parents' grave every year since his coming of age. While his parents died for years, the childhood memories live on in his happy days and wanted to share those happy moments with his own little family.

The reason I specifically choose this scene bcs asides WangXian, I'm really in love with the junior ducklings and their adventures with Wei Ying in the drama while Yi City Arc is among my favourites. Such sassy babies 😭
